There were several versions of this item on Amazon so I searched until I found the vacuum hose and adapter that included a free brush at the lowest price with prime shipping. I was under the impression that I would use the product once and toss it since at this price (I paid $11.95+tax) it wouldn't be very well made. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find when I opened the package, that it was actually rather well made! The plastic is sturdy and seems like it will last quite a while. Comparing it to a much more expensive version from QVC that was gifted to me, the Holikme tool is vastly better. The QVC version's hose was round, making it hard to maneuver or even get into some places inside the dryer. The Holikme version has a somewhat flattened, more oval shaped hose and is made of much sturdier plastic. The reason I purchased a new one is due to the QVC version's hose pretty much disintegrating after about 8 months of storage. Not only is this version made better, it also includes a free tapered lint brush that seems well made and sturdy with a wood handle, a flexible, shapeable 25 inch long brush (29.5 inches long from the end of the handle), with stiff bristles that will work great for grabbing lint in between full vacuuming of your dryer. I normally don't write reviews that are this detailed, but I am very impressed and pleased with my purchase from Holikme and will look for their name when purchasing on Amazon on the future. My one problem (not even worth losing a fraction of a star over...more of a suggestion) is with the description of the product on Amazon. It reads: "Holikme 2 Pack Dryer Lint Vacuum Attachment and Flexible Dryer Lint Brush, Dryer Vent Cleaner Kit, Vacuum Hose Attachment Brush, Lint Remover, Blue" The phrase "two pack" here, while I now see it refers to there being two different items included in this "kit", makes it seem at first glance like you're getting a "two pack" of the brush/hose "dryer vent cleaner kit". After reading and looking at the pictures, you see that's not the case, but as someone who doesn't always have the time to do so (foolish, I know!) things like this bug me! Title of the listing aside, this is a great product and I believe it will be the last one like it I will need to purchase! ... show more

I used the vacuum attachment as soon as I got it because our dryer was not working as well as it used to. I could not believe the amount of lint that I was able to vacuum out of the filter area, even though I conscientiously clean the filter every time I dry a load of laundry. The attachment works great and was able to access the lower area of the filter space that I didn't even know was there. It also worked well on cleaning the vent on the outside of our house. I highly recommend that everyone who owns a dryer clean out their filter area. If it is hiding as much lint as mine was, it is certainly a fire hazard. ... show more

I had previously bought a wire bristle brush off of Amazon to clean the lint trap on my front loading dryer. It barely managed to collect any significant amount. This dryer vent cleaner attached to my handheld battery-powered vacuum and managed to fit into the narrow crevice of my machine. I sucked up so much lint that, although entirely subjective, seemed to help speed up the drying process. My in-laws who happened to be around when I was performing the cleaning were also quite impressed and have ordered one for themselves as well. Highly recommend. ... show more

I love this dryer lint extension for the vaccum. I wanted to try a cheaper option first before I spent way more money having someone clean the lint trap deep down. So much lint came out of my dryer, it was crazy. I'm very good at cleaning it after using the dryer, but inevitably there's always more that we can't see or reach because it's too deep. It's a great way to keep it clear of lint to increase the efficiency of the dryer, which will save money from electricity and extend the life of the dryer, and prevent possible fires. ... show more

Well I have to say I'm not exceptionally impressed. You get what you pay for. However, the lint brush was the saving grace . I was able to reach deeply into the diet to get that lint but it's really not long enough for the vent tube in the back. I wish that the blue extension tube was much longer so that I could get through the lint tube at the back of the dryer but it's just not long enough and i did worry it might come off the vacuum and get stuck inside the silver tube. This drier cleaning kit is best for light cleaning, not for deep lint retrieval. So. It's not a waste but it isn't for cleaning a machine that hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. Believe me, I'm the worst at upkeep of my drier and that's why i was trying to find a good kit. ... show more

I just received this lint trap cleaning kit and just had to try it out right away. The brush and vacuum hose both came bent in half but not kinked. It was very easy to straighten both without any damage. All pieces are higher quality than expected and seem very durable. I was able to use the brush to loosen lint from deep inside the vent and the flexible hose fit very nicely onto my Bissell vacuum cleaner. The hose flexed around the corners and got all the lint even from the bottom. The brush has a hole in the handle that allowed it to hang on a hook and I draped the hose over that. I’m extremely glad I found this attachment. Before this, cleaning the dryer was always a nightmare: I had to use wet napkins in order to pickup hard to reach lint and dust but I never was able to completely remove them, I sometimes got cut too. This attachment is a life saver! It makes dryer cleaning extremely fast and easy. I wonder why it does not come with standard kit for every vacuums? ... show more
