This is a nice simple silver ring to use as a wedding band. My husband lost his original wedding band and we really can't afford to replace it, so this works just as good and if it gets lost we won't be quite as heartbroken! It is solid and it does say on the inside .925. This is a good value for the quality.

The media could not be loaded. I got the 2mm size of this ring, and I've been wearing it every day since I got it! The 2mm size is a really lovely, dainty and minimalist piece. It's advertised as silver, and honestly, I think it's the real deal. Here's why I'm pretty sure: No magnetic attraction: Magnets aren't friends with silver. This ring passed the magnet test no problem. Tiny "925" stamp: There is a tiny "925" stamp, which is usually a good indicator of sterling silver. Skin-friendly: My skin is pretty sensitive, and this ring hasn't caused any irritation in the two weeks I've been wearing it non-stop. Durability (or lack thereof): I'm not the most careful person with my jewelry, so this ring has already picked up a few minor dings and dents (only visible upon very close inspection). These little mishaps haven't revealed any different metal underneath, which would be the case if it were just silver-plated. I tried a couple of the other DIY silver tests I saw online - the ice cube melting thing (supposedly silver conducts heat really well) and the sound test (apparently real silver has a distinct jingle). Honestly, those were inconclusive. I'll post the ice cube test here so you can try and judge for yourself. But based on everything else, I'm pretty confident this is genuine silver. Beyond the material, I just love the look of this ring. It's super delicate and minimalist, which is exactly what I wanted. The 2mm width is perfect for stacking with other rings or wearing on its own for a subtle touch of shine. It's also incredibly shiny and bright. Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase. It's a beautiful, affordable ring that seems to be genuine silver. If you're looking for a delicate and minimalist piece of jewelry, I highly recommend it!
