Quality product. There is an 1/8 of an inch play around the lip and top of camera. I just slid it back so the lip is flush with the front of the camera. You see very little of the cover on the screen when watching video. Honestly you barely notice it. If you keep the even 1/8" gap all around you see a little more of the cover. I was able to remove and stick back on and it stuck just as good as first putting it on. I've read people saying it wouldn't stick again. I had no problem. Have to wait for rain to see if it blocks the lens from getting wet but I believe it probably won't. I bought 2 of them for 2 cameras. Maybe a little too pricey for what it is but what isnt nowadays. Would definitely recommend ... show more

Ok. Easy install Perfect fit. Absolutely necessary for outside cameras. How Ring let this get past them I have no idea. Keeps most rain off lens and aids with shade for best picture during sunny days. Even outside camera under awnings should have one. I bought them and recommend to everyone I know with Ring Cameras. I had a tough time getting it to stick to the top of the Solar Ring camera. Jury is still out so we shall see if it stays on.

    • They need to fit snugly and easily to get off. Needs so you can tip them upside down and stay on.!

Did not like it at all will not be buying any more. They need to fit snug easy to get on and off they’re to loose. They need to make them White and Black.
