It was a simple, intuitive assembly but the instructions are clear if you need them. It's sturdy, well made, and charmingly rustic looking and adds a touch of "something old" in the bedroom. We absolutely love this bench. It’s very study and lightweight. Very easy to put together. The size was just as described and fit in our space perfectly. Great for our laundry room entry and we even store shoes on bottom shelf. Seems very durable so far.

This is such a great buy - we have it next to the front door in our entryway and it’s a life saver with having to put on and take off all these winter boots! The size is a little narrow from front to back but that works here, it doesn’t take away too much from the hallway. It’s very sturdy! It is lightweight but very well made, easy to put together. Smells, feels, and looks like real reclaimed wood. Coloring is perfect.
