Omg love these shoes. VERY lightweight. I bought one white pair and one black. Haven’t worn yet on a long walk. But so far, super comfy. Although I got an 7 regular, in the toe area there’s definitely some nice wiggle room. But not loose at all. Snug and good fit. Material is very thin/breathable. But quality seems good. No threads or lifting anywhere. Will have to see how they clean once dirty. Nice looking walking shoe. I'am amazed at this shoe. Not only do they fit perfectly but the level of comfort and support is amazing. I'm pleasantly surprised with Hoka. I bought these for stability but don't want to take them off , they make walking so easing on back, hips and legs. I was hesitant to buy with the cost and not trying on first, but this is definitely going to be my new favorite brand. I just ordered a pair for my husband who has foot issues.     • The "Clifton" grew up: A higher drop and a firmer ride
Size: 7 Color: Black/Black
I’ve been a Clifton loyalist since the version 7, so I was both excited and nervous about the big overhaul for the Hoka Clifton 10. After 50 miles of road running and several 12-hour shifts on my feet, this version feels less like a "marshmallow" and more like a stable, reliable workhorse. What’s actually different: • The 8mm Drop: This is the biggest change. Moving from a 5mm to an 8mm drop makes the shoe feel much more traditional. If you’re a heel-striker like me, you’ll notice the transition from heel to toe feels faster and less "sluggish" than the Clifton 9. • Firmness vs. Plushness: While it’s still categorized as "plush," the compression-molded EVA feels a bit denser this time. You don't sink into it as much. It’s better for all-day standing because your feet don't feel like they're working as hard to stabilize, but it’s less "bouncy" for fast sprints. • The Upper Fit: The new jacquard knit is a massive improvement. It’s more breathable, and the double-lace lock actually keeps the tongue in place—no more stopping mid-run to adjust a sliding tongue. The "Real World" Check: • Width: I found the forefoot slightly roomier than the 9s, but if you have bunions or wide feet, I’d still suggest the "Wide" version as the taper at the toes is still fairly quick. • Durability: The Durabrasion rubber on the outsole is holding up well on pavement, though I’ve noticed some early scuffing on the exposed foam sections. This is definitely a road shoe; I wouldn't take these on rocky trails. One Nitpick: It’s slightly heavier than previous models (around 8 oz for my size). It’s not "clunky," but if you’re used to the ultra-lightweight feel of the Mach series, you’ll feel the extra stack height here. Bottom Line: The Clifton 10 is perfect for easy recovery miles and for people who work on their feet all day. It’s a bit more "serious" than previous versions, favoring stability and longevity over that cloud-like squish. ... show more
