You need a top notch graphics card. I don't have one and the game was unplayable. The faces don't render and it looks like a horror game. Many of the in game puzzles are based on visual matching but I can't see the pictures, just distorted clouds. I quit after 6 hours of play and can't get a refund.

This game FEELS like Harry Potter. If you want to go on adventures in the Harry Potter universe, this is the game for you. I bought a copy for myself and my son. I ran it on a I7/1070, a I7/2060, and a I9/3080TI. I performed flawlessly and looked great on all of those setups. I can't wait to see where it goes from here! ... show more

    • Solid game marred by issues on PC
Seems to be a good game with solid play. Some have compared it to Skyrim as it is "open world", but I'd say it's a slight step down from Skyrim. There is some fighting, but more puzzles and exploration which I probably enjoy more. Some of the leveling is on rails - you have to get certain achievements or complete other quests to get a new spell for example. What fighting there is can be as interesting as you want. You can levitate a mob for a some time while you deal with another, throw side items like crates or pottery at them, use a special ability (which is part of the plot of the game - so no spoilers), dodge roll, shield, etc. So why 3 starts? Memory leaks and other graphical issues that make this game unplayable after 2-4 hours. There are a lot of suggestions online of how to "fix" this issue either by changing certain Windows settings or knocking certain graphical setting down. These work for a while, but then they all come creeping back. If you have a second monitor and are using it for anything? The faster it will come back. And before anyone starts, the recommended GPU for this is a 1080 - a 7yr old GPU - and I have a 3k series GPU. Even pushing the graphics down to medium for everything doesn't help. Some of the visuals I see when the problem starts reminds me of DX12 issues I've had in other games, but in those games I've also gotten the option to use DX11 which fixes the issue. I do notice when I read the ToS that WB says they will monitor our computer while we play. Many games for PC allow you to opt-in to this. The game just shut down once while I was playing to update - no notification at all. I can't help but wonder if part of the issue is the demand the game puts on the system overall and not just from playing the game. I would say that if you have a console, then that may be the better option. If you don't mind having to constantly fix graphical errors, then go ahead. Otherwise wait until they try to fix some issues or until it goes on sale for PC. ... show more

I bought it because I was hearing about some controversy around it so, like everyone knows, where there's controversy, there's a great game!! This one did not disappoint!!
