The Hodedah 2-Door Armoire with 2-Drawers is constructed of sturdy, durable, top quality wood. Features a laminated finish in a variety of colors. It has two doors that easily open to a spacious wardrobe. Behind two doors, it is equipped with a hanging garment bar that is the width of closet. The bottom of the closet has two drawers which have metal runners and safety stops that will keep the drawer firmly in place when it is fully opened.

I ordered two of these wardrobes. One arrived in perfect condition. My husband put it together by himself & was extremely frustrated with the process. So if you have no patience or are not handy with putting furniture together, do not try this on your own. The second wardrobe came with a panel that was broken (pictured) so badly it could not be used. I tried calling the company (Hodedah) & you just cannot get through to a live person at all. I used their website to submit a written request for a replacement panel. They responded quickly & said my request would be processed in 5-7 business days. On day 5 I wanted a status update so I emailed again. I received a response stating I would get a reply in 24-72 hours. After 72 hours with no reply (which was also past the original 7th day) I emailed again. I got an auto response stating my comments had been added to my request. At this point I was extremely frustrated as I am on a time frame with the room these wardrobes are going into. So I decided to file a complaint through the better business bureau. By the next day I got an email from Hodedah, but still no confirmation as to whether or not I was receiving a replacement part which is all I wanted. A couple days later I then received a phone call from an extremely rude & unprofessional woman on behalf of the company. She said I would receive a whole new unit. Well I received my replacement today. It is not a whole new unit. It’s just the panel (also pictured) & not the correct panel at that!! It does not match at all!!! It doesn’t have the wood grain look the wardrobe has. The shade of black does not match. It is just a board that is very obvious they painted black. You can see how the paint dripped due to their lack of caring to paint it right. I am extremely dissatisfied & am just over it which is what they we’re probably hoping for. I read the reviews and I am glad I read them after I bought it. We had no issue putting it together with the instructions. It took just over an hour and we were just taking our time. If you have a gap on the doors when done, there is an adjustment feature to fix that in like two minutes. Ours had the gap, a little adjusting, perfect. We are using it for a baby closet so the size is fine but I could see how adult hangers would not fit. I would buy it again. Perfect for what I need and the cost. This would be perfect for a baby room. Not for anyone older then baby hangers .. and the drawers can only hold underwear and socks.. this description should say 'baby/childs room' Though I'm disappointed, it's still a good piece of furniture if your looking for baby furniture 👍 I ended up down sizing my 14 year olds clothes and having the adult hangers sit a little sideways. Folded his jeans and shorts under hanging clothes and used the drawers for socks and underwear and pajamas. I also like the compact look and so it's become a blessing in disguise. I have a dresser by this same company from the same product line as well. I bought the dresser from another site though (You might even say I bought it in a "Fair Way") so I was excited to see a matching wardrobe. Yes, I knew I'd have to put it together and yes I knew it was MDF, not real wood. I was okay with both of those facts and overall, it meets my expectations. But there are 2 glaring errors in my opinion: 1. Adjusting the doors to get them to meet in the middle is proving to be quite the "trial and error" endeavor. I wish it were easier or rather that this was easier to put together. There are simply too many steps that have to go perfectly to assure it all comes together correctly. 2. One of the side pieces on the drawer was backward. Effectively, I have to "right side" pieces for the drawer instead of a right and a left. As a result, the unfinished edge is up/visible and the finished edge is not visible. Overall, this piece could have been made better. There are some parts where it seems the manufacturer really splurged and fabricated quality parts and others feel cheap. the handles and drawer pulls are all cheap plastic. But, you get what you pay for and if you want a really good Wardrobe, I'd argue against this one. If you're just starting out or trying to furnish a room for cheap then this is the way to go. It's okay for the price, but you're better off spending a little more money for a better quality wardrobe. ... show more

    • If you have 5 hours to spend on assembly
The instructions for this piece are so horribly written and when I say bad, I mean REALLY BAD. I spent about 5 hours assembling this piece because I had to go back and remove a few pieces because the directions aren’t clear as to which way things should face or lay. You have to squint looking at the poorly drawn diagrams to figure it out and it’s highly likely your best guess will always be wrong. It’s comical how poor the directions are. I had plenty of left over hardware, I must’ve gotten some of the other people’s pieces LOL OUTSIDE OF THAT, it is a sturdy quality piece. I’m pleased with the outcome. ... show more

    • Do NOT buy this! Almost comical how bad this is.

All of the above - not good in quality, sturdiness, assembly, and definitely a waste time and money. We opened up the super heavy box. Everything is made with cheap particle board, so many of the edges were chipped or the white paint already separating. Tapping in the hard, plastic dowels with a rubber mallet made the boards crack, then when trying to follow the instructions, many of the pre-drilled holes were either backwards, on the wrong side of the board or missing all together. There were a couple pieces where the white paint had been applied to the wrong side of the board. When my husband and I tried to stand the shelf upright (the instructions have you start it laying on the ground flat to build) all the screws ripped through the particle board, completely damaging the majority of the shelf and us getting scraped up a bit. I have put together a wide spectrum of furniture from high quality to not the best, and this was the absolute worst piece of furniture I’ve ever bought anywhere. Now I have a huge, heavy pile of broken particle board that Amazon wants me to repack and lug somewhere to return it (even though it’s totally ruined) and I’m out a good chunk of money. I’ve learned my lesson to stop buying cheap furniture off Amazon. ... show more

I love this. It's fairly easy to assemble and it's fairly spacious. It is fairly heavy though. I had a hard time setting it up right when I was supposed to though. That one back panel has all the wight and it can be difficult to manuver. Definitely follow the instructions when it says "two person build" lol. Don't be like me and try to solo it. It probably should be about an inch deeper so it has enough room for hangers and clothing, but it's very good for the money. I put stickers on mine ... show more
