I like it. I've only had it a few weeks but so far so good. Everything arrived in perfect condition, nothing was damaged. WARNING!!! it has a lot of pieces to put together. I have put together A LOT of furniture so this was not hard nor the hardest thing I have put together, BUT a first timer will want to cry. The advantage of THIS dresser is the instructions are VERY detailed. Most instructions are vague or only a picture with pointing arrows. These instructions are assembly friendly. If you're a beginner, I would suggest to find something to keep the hardware in order, like the muffin tin I used, this is the first thing I do when assembling anything. It took a good 3 hrs to assemble, that includes inspecting every piece separating the hardware and snacks within arms reach. I would suggest having someone help with assembling the middle; It will be slightly difficult to install the planks to each end without help. You need a Phillips head screw driver and a hammer. You should not use a drill for the screws but I did for most the the assemble, you can mess up if you screw it too tight and split the wood but I do this a lot and know how to control the torque on the drill. The drawers are 27 inches wide (side to side) 13 inches long (front to back) and 4 inches deep. This dresser is pretty sturdy, it's just to hold clothing, it's not in a kids room, no one is going to climb on it. The top drawers with lock and key is cute --IT'S NOT A SAFE-- but if you have roommates or someone that will be mosey; this can be a deterrent. It would be obvious if someone tried to tamper with it. All and all it's a nice dresser but if this is your first time assembling this will take a long time and be frustrating. I would suggest it to a friend and help them put it together :) ... show more

more flimsy than expected. i am experienced at assembling furniture... this was terrible. Uneven assemblage drill holes, several mismatched colors, several pieces not labeled at all...had to guess by power of elimination and pictures. directions hard to follow as pictures are small and wording vague. A disgruntled employee must have packed this. Everything was shrewn around in the box. scratched, nicks, dents and two big cracks needing glue to stabalize. Missing a pack of screws and dowel rods...thankfully have lots of extras from other projects. Also covered in thick black dust. The box and internal styrofoam sheets looked like it fell off a truck, rolled down a hill, got run over by another truck, then was picked up, kicked and stomped on as there were many footprints on box, styrofoam sheets were pulverized and box was open on top and both ends. the only thing keeping it together was a strap and delivery drivers prayers. Note... this could not have happened from UPS delivery...warehouse had to put this on this way(UPS guy said he got it that way... never had UPS deliver like this before). Should have refused delivery, but UPS guy lugged it up stairs, so I felt bad and just hoped is was better than it looked. WRONG... it was WORSE! took an hour and a half just to unbox as mangled foam and dirt was everywhere and had to clean as I went. I looked like pigpen from charlie brown when done. The scratches and dents were thankfully mostly on the interior pieces and was able to paint over the rest. just really needed the dresser and was so much trouble to get a new box to return package and not able to carry back out of house to mail it back. Listen to the reviews and steer clear, or at least refuse delivery if box is not perfect. As a manufacturer, I would be embarrassed to have my name on this product, as a seller warehouse, you should be appalled that it was shipped out in this condition. Will not buy from this manufacturer again and will never buy something like this from Amazon ever again. ... show more

Product is surprisingly sturdy and looks really good - considering it is your typical inexpensive particle board furniture. I would definitely recommend using LOTS of wood glue for all screw and peg holes though. It took me a few hours to assemble, and I’ve put together lots of this type of furniture in the past. The glue is what adds a lot of extra time since you can’t really get too far ahead on filling in holes. Also, when I nailed on the finished backing, I also added several screws to connect the backing to the backside wood-crossbars. That helped a great deal in keeping the unit extra sturdy. Remember, this furniture is made from inexpensive materials which could make it very brittle if over worked. ... show more
