    • Very difficult to assemble
I was hopeless after opening the package. It’s written in the manual that 2 person needed for assembly and time duration is mentioned 90 min. It took more than 5 hours for us. After assembly, the product looks good and sturdy but assembly is so time consuming.

I'm not normally that guy, but this product really is terrible. I should have done more research before I purchased it. I expected the cheap fragile plywood and plastic fasteners from the "No power tools" warning in the description, yet I still somehow managed to strip 2 of the mini fixes by hand, but I'll accept some accountability there. What IS very frustrating is that despite the fragility of the fasteners you don't receive any spares in the box. There are easily over 200 dowels, nails, screws, mini-fixes etc that this needs and if you lose or damage a single one you're on your own. As for the product itself, this wood isn't even stained or coated in anyway to get the color, it's some kind of micro-sheet of plastic adhered to the plywood. It was already peeling off at the edges when I opened the box, and was further damaged by even light taps from my rubber mallet. The panels for the faces of the drawers arrived scratched, despite the efficient packaging. I literally put a scratch on this thing with my fingernail by accident when sliding a drawer into place...it's insanely thin and weak. I don't doubt even just some decent humidity would have this whole thing peeling off from the wood underneath. After all this, I was also shipped an off color piece from the grey set that does not match the chocolate I ordered. As for the assembly, this is not a 90 minute project for 2 people, especially without power tools or foreknowledge of its assembly. Remember above, where I said 200+ fasteners? Ya, there's also 60+ pieces and a bunch of tiny circular stickers you have to put over the exterior screws to hide them. I worked at Big Lots back in the day and assembled things of this of this nature all the time, and this thing still pissed me off. Overall, a lot of frustration here for what should be a simple dresser, especially given it showed up damaged. ... show more

    • Not too bad for the price
Have been needing to get a better dresser and finally decided on this one. Glad I chose it. The drawer space could be better but compared to what I had previously, the capacity actually increased. The dresser is sturdy and well designed except for the locking drawers. Both drawers have their own keys so keeping track of both could be a problem if you are using them regularly. The locks themselves feel like they are generic so don't place high value items in these drawers if you want complete security. Overall very nice setup to have. ... show more

This dresser is a piece of crap. I’m in college so putting together the money to even buy the dresser was a pain in the ass and then to get it and it just fall apart every time I try to use it was just a giant disappointment. Almost every single piece of wood has it’s paint or sticker or whatever it is torn off or scratched or buffed probably from factory packing because the delivery was very sturdy and good. The body of the dresser was decently good to put together. The only thing that was bad about the body was the locking black plastic pieces. No MATTER how hard you hammer, you cannot get the plastic dowels to stick together. I dented some of the pieces of cheap wood by simply trying to build it, making the top bowed. The metal locking pieces are the biggest problem on the drawers and once again the plastic dowels. The only thing that I could do to save it was to screw a long screw into the side of the drawer to help it stay together and even then it just doesn’t look good. You definitely cannot just put this together with a screw driver either, you NEED power tools unless you’re the hulk. Half of the holes are not screwed in and half of the pieces where the holes were provided just made it splinter and break more. The drawers are not flush because the front is simply falling off. The locking screws are awful and break the second you pull the dresser drawer. The only halfway decent things are the locking drawers and the body portion. I would send it back and demand my money back but at this point it’s just so much of a hassle to even take it apart and send it back. Do NOT waste your money on this piece of crap, especially if you’re like me and were expecting a halfway decent piece of furniture that at least stays together when you go to use it. The problem with companies like this is they scam you out of your money by sending you the cheapest piece of wood and worst screws to work with and incorrect tool instructions as well. ... show more

I bought this to replace a three drawer dresser I had. It took a while to assemble, but I was able to do it without any help. It all fit together perfectly and the only hardware I was short on were the trim nails used to put the back on. No big deal as I already had some.
