I bought this for my handbags and found it to be an excellent place to put my hats, caps, backpack, long umbrellas, walking stick, and purse if you have limited space AND I can hang an outfit there if I'm getting dressed to go out. Depends on where you want to put it. I put mine in my bedroom. It's about 6 feet tall and the umbrella basket is 10 inches wide and 14 inches deep. it very easy to assemble, light weight but very sturdy and does not topple over. All of the bags of screws are properly marked so there is no room for error. I would recommend.

This was pretty easy to put together by myself, only took about an hour or so. Unfortunately, the product had a defect which made the process of constructing it to be quite difficult. I reached out to the seller who shipped me a replacement for the piece that was missing. It looks great, it's sturdy and holds my winter coat (heavy) and my husband's work jackets (extra heavy duty) without falling over. Plus, it looks nice aesthetically.

Although there are no written instructions, the illustrations are good enough for any novice to follow. It took me about 45 minutes to unpack and put it together; I am not mechanically inclined but it was easy to put together. The pieces were all labeled and all hardware, including the Allen wrench, are included, no other tools necessary. Everything lined up very well and the screws went in effortlessly. I really like it and it’s very well made.

I got this to help corral my hubby’s canes, which have a tendency to fall over if they are simply leaned against the wall. It was easy to assemble and looks good. They even sent a few extra screws! However, I question the sturdiness of the unit for one simple reason. You are supposed to connect each section of the pole with a special, double-ended screw. One end of each section was perfect, with the holder for the screw easily accessible and the screws going in easily, without having to be forced. The problem came when you tried to connect one section to the next. The screw holder is at least 1” down in the pole. This makes it absolutely impossible to attach the sections properly. The screw won’t even come close so that I could ‘hook’ it in and pull the piece up while inserting the screw. Since the bottom section of the pole is solidly attached to the umbrella base, it could be lifted by that piece, but none of the other three sections are actually attached. They are simply sitting together. On the bright side, the arms can be turned for easy access to the coats hanging on them!
