I have never worn zero-drop shoes, but based on this purchase, I will order more. I have extremely high arched, high volume (tall), and wide feet. It has always been a problem finding shoes that are even slightly fashionable so I mostly wear Birkenstocks. The past decade I have noticed that this is beginning to change as more manufacturers are broadening their sizes. I only recently became aware of zero-drop shoes and I would recommend reading more about them online. Many of the articles I read said to start slow wearing zero-drop shoes slowly to allow your feet to get used to them, but they were immediately comfortable. I was looking for walking shoes, but obviously wasn’t paying attention when I chose these because they are more like classic Keds. I was going to return them, but after trying them on and the low price point, I am keeping them. They are wide in the toes and they fit my feet so well. They are one of the most comfortable shoes I have purchased in a while. Even in such a light shoes, my feel supported. These are not water-resistant and I wouldn’t wear them on really rainy days, but they are perfect for running errands. They are labeled “fashion” shoes. And speaking of fashion I find the quite cute. One of my friends said they look like duck feet shoes which wasn’t the look I was really going for, but they spread out in the toe-box so maybe she has a point. Carrie Bradshaw probably would not wear them, but ducks are cute. Right? I plan to purchase these in another color and look for zero drop walking shoes in the future. Update: After wearing these shoes I would not recommend these for walks. A lot of these zero-drop shoes are listed as walking shoes state which I take to mean that they can be worn for actual walks. That is not my experience. Perhaps the company just means you can walk in them because after a shortish walk the bones on the bottom sides of my feet really hurt. Because of the thinness of the soles (much like Keds) I was surprised they called them walking shoes. I will wear them in the future for running errands, but not for any type of walks.

I absolutely love these shoes. Comfortable, wide toe box. Zero drop, over all I love them. They work well with most of my outfits. I'd not really suggest wearing them where it's wet, but I' m they'd dry well. I've had them for a year, they've been my primary shoe and I've only recently noticed a little wear and tear on the inside. Definitely will buy again and will buy other shoes from this brand! Highly suggest if you're looking for barefoot shoes that don't have the toes on them. They're affordable, most other brands have been like really expensive, I'm talking $200 and if you're like me, you're too broke for expensive shoes!

These are a great starter for those wanting to get into barefoot shoes but worried about not having enough cushion under the foot. They’re also easy to slip on Edit: The first pair were purchased by my daughter, but I ordered a pair for myself to replace an older pair of a different brand of barefoot shoes. These appear to be very well made, and are very comfortable for a "barefoot" shoe with zero drop. Yes, you do feel most everything you step on due to the barefoot design, but overall these are above average compared to the others I have worn over the past 20 years, and most of my daily wear shoes are zero drop, barefoot, wide toe shoes. On the first day I wore these all day long while working outside in my yard while doing various projects (moving heavy materials, block/brick work, building a gate, moving and repairing a vehicle, moving dirt with a shovel, etc.), and these didn't bother my feet at all, which is saying a lot because I have two 4" screws through my heel, fusing the joint, and have had multiple surgeries on that foot and ankle, and have been living with a lot of pain for about 50 years. Typically I can only do a few hours at a time, rest, then it takes half an hour to get that side functioning correctly again, then another couple of hours, lather, rinse, repeat, and then the next day I wake up in a lot of pain and it takes a while to get moving again, but I didn't seem to have as much of an issue after wearing these. Hopefully this trend will continue at least for a little while. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable, properly fitting, barefoot, zero drop shoe, at an excellent price! I am planning on ordering a couple more pair in different colors and styles after seeing all they have to offer. Maybe some of the slip-ons so I won't have to tie my laces anymore.

I have washed them on a gentle cycle in a mesh bag one and they turned out fine air drying but I did notice some mildew inside under the support sole when I took it out to wash.

I’ll be honest—I didn’t realize how uncomfortable my shoes were until I switched to Hobbibear. If you have wide feet, these are a game changer. For years, I was cramming my feet into narrow shoes thinking that was just how it had to be. By the end of the day, my feet would ache, and I just accepted it as normal. It’s not. Hobbibear shoes actually give your feet room to exist the way they’re supposed to. The toe box is wide enough that your toes aren’t squished together, and that alone makes a huge difference in comfort. The first time I wore them, I noticed immediately that there were no pressure points, no squeezing. What really surprised me is how they hold up throughout the day. I can be on my feet for hours (did Epic Universe in them) now without that familiar soreness creeping in. No more rushing to take my shoes off the second I get home. They’re simple, comfortable, and actually designed with real feet in mind, especially if you’ve struggled with wide shoes in the past. I genuinely can’t believe I waited this long to make the switch.

Very lightweight and flexible barefoot shoe with lots of toe room. I have wide feet, and the toe box has plenty of room for me, with more to spare as my toes continue to relax and spread. From the first time I tried these on I noticed subtle changes in my posture and the way that I walk while wearing shoes; leaning more forward on the balls of my feet and with a less pronounced heel-to-toe roll with each step. My calves are noticeably more involved in my stride with these shoes. The base of the shoe is thin and flexible, but seems durable. The foam inserts are very comfortable, though I don't expect them to last very long and will probably have to get some replacements in the near future. You can definitely feel the ground through these shoes, including the temperature of the pavement you're walking on, but this is to be expected and not meant as a negative. The overall construction seems to be quite good, though you may want to get an extra pair if you plan to use them regularly for activities like hiking, climbing, running, or other intensive activities. I was a little concerned about what size to order, as I can range from a 10.5 to a 12 depending on the brand/manufacturer, but I went with my usual size of 11 and perfectly hit the mark. They fit like a glove. It's also worth mentioning that while they are noticeably wider than normal shoes, they don't look goofy or give off a "clown shoes" vibe. They just look like comfortable and simplistic footwear. While you probably won't get compliments for them from normies, you also aren't going to get noticed they way that the toe-shoe people do. Super satisfied. Will probably be getting another pair soon.

I am new to minimalist shoes, and this pair is the first that I am trying. I have had them for 2 days now, and I feel like I can write a decent initial review. I think these shoes are very comfortable; and I'm surprised by that because I've always been a cushy shoe type of person because my feet are quick to start hurting. Granted, I haven't walked for miles at a time in the Hobibear shoes yet, but I have worn them all day (office job, but walk between multiple buildings frequently) for the past two days and I've worked out in them both days and I've had almost no foot pain. I will say, when working out (cardio, usually interval training), I have noticed that my right foot wants to cramp up on me. I am going to try not wearing socks during my workout tonight to see if that helps. I think that my feet slide around in the shoes with the wide toe box, which makes my toes work overtime to try to grip the shoes. Which brings me to my biggest grip about the shoes... the tongue. It is terribly uncomfortable. I have adjusted the snugness of the shoe several times since having them, and no matter how I adjust or loosen the shoes, the tongue wrinkles and digs into the top of my feet. The tag on the tongue is especially uncomfortable for this reason. I may just need to find different no-show socks that provide more coverage so that my skin isn't rubbing up right against the tag, but I don't think that will help how the tongue bunches up throughout the day and digs into my skin. And, again, because they have the super wide toe box (which I LOVE, by the way, don't get me wrong) I feel like the mid-foot need to be a little more snug so that my foot doesn't slide around. But if I tighten it to the snugness I would prefer to help with the sliding, it hurts! I hope to come back and edit my review after I've worn them longer as maybe I will figure some of this out, but right now I'm undecided if I would order these again. I do think that I want to move toward a more minimalist shoe, I'm just not sure that this brand or style will be the ones. As a final note, I will also add that I have terrible knees due to several sports injuries over the years and I do notice that my knees hurt a little more since I've been wearing these. But in my research I did see that there was an adjustment period and that you have to learn to adjust your gait to a minimalist shoe so I am working on that as well. But I wanted to include that for others who may have joint issues- these may not be the shoe for you if you're not willing to wait out the adjustment period.

👍👍 They have a wide toe box but no extra draping or bunching fabric on top. 👍👍 The heel fits nicely & the back of the heel doesn’t rub my achilles raw which many of these cheaper minimal issues do that when I wear them without socks. 👍👍 The tread on the bottom of these provides ample traction‼️ This is a big deal bc⚠️ a lot of cheap minimalist shoes don’t have good traction & are dangerously slippery on wet surfaces. 👍 Decent breath-ability. I love wearing NikeFlyKnits for their stretch & breath-ability but their toe box is WAY to small for healthy foot physiology no matter how much you size up. 👍 The laces are the perfect length 👍 The interior cushion pad is as to be expected for a minimal issue, supportive, with a little rebound but not too much. 👍👍 These are true to size for me & not at all small as other reviewers have mentioned. If anything the women’s size 8 I ordered these in is a little large & more like a W9 but they will be perfect whenever I wear socks & roomy without. 👍👍 🤩 Appearance 👌 I love barefoot running and minimalist shoes but it’s hard to find a simple cute ‘sneaker’ look as barefoot/minimal shoes usually fall into categories 1. Clown shoes 2. Rubber wrapped explosions of color. There’s also the minimalist shoes that are just low quality shoes that are wide in the heel, have bunch fabric on top that are usually just made for super fat or elephantitis feet. Don’t get me wrong I love a roomy toe box & enjoy all of my wild colored Vibram shoes but I wanted something more subtle & Xero’s just weren’t doing it. These white shoes are it‼️ 🌎 🏃♀️ Of course I’m going to get these white shoes filthy fast and I’ll update my review after I wash them a time or two.
