It takes a couple of days for this to loosen up to use it . The cover is soft to the touch . The comfort level is a bit firm at first but we have noticed it softens more with use. Itโ€™s perfect for a child but not large enough for an adult.

This was exactly what I was looking for. My newly 4-year-old loves poufs/bean bags, so I wanted to get her one for her birthday. I was specifically looking for a teardrop shape that she could lay across of sit on like a chair. This one is the perfect size for her, firm enough that I can sit on it without sinking all the way to the floor, but soft enough that she can get comfy. The fabric is soft and the handle has already born a good deal of pulling (dragging, lol). We've had it less than a month, so if durability issues show up in the near future, I will update my review. But if I don't update, you can assume it's held up! Please note before you buy - this is not actually filled with "beans" but rather with shredded memory foam. I wanted the foam because it's quiet, light, and supportive. But if you specifically want beads, you'll want to look elsewhere. ... show more

This is such a good product. When I was taking the box inside, there was a tear in the box, but it didn't affect the bean bag. It was heavy, and it was very firm at first, but it softened up easily. It's really comfortable and is the perfect size for an adult or large child. The instructions were confusing, though, and there was a lot of annoying child-proof plastic that even with scissors was hard to cut open. This is not a true bean bag chair at all. It's very stiff and hard as a rock and almost impossible to shape into a comfortable position. I wish I hadn't bought it. My cat gets more use out of it now and it's become her throne chair.

Well, it's a good size but man is it stiff. The foam inside has little to no give so it won't mold to you unless you give it a good beating. It's heavy for what it is, which I'm ok with. Currently I just use it for a landing pad when wrestling with my toddler.
