This is a nice little R/C aircraft to fly at football fields, and parks. I get 10-15 minute flight out of it by being conservative with power. I recommend buying 3 or 4 extra batteries as charge time is long. Some precautions though: No R/C plane is easy to fly for a beginner. It is best flown in winds of less than 5 MPH. ... show more

I have the big scout and it flies great. But the mni scout is hard to keep flying and it has no stabilization whatsoever. Really hard to control.

This plane is very under powered and wings need to be more rigid for outdoor park flying, Indoor flying that offers ample room is recimended

    • Broke after the first time.
I was going to but the full/big version, but after watching endless YouTube videos, and reading local laws against drones and "small unmanned aircraft," I decided to go with the Mini AeroScout. I only actually flew once for about 45 seconds, and after a couple more tries, the styrofoam plane cracked in half. This was a xmas gift for my son, I even bought extra batteries so that we could get over 30 mins of flying. Nope! I spent all in about $150 ... for 45 seconds of flying. Total waste of money. The styrofoam is very weak and cannot take a mild crash. Buy a different plane, a stronger one, or get a Traxxas RC car (those are fun), but I wouldn't spend my money on this. ... show more

I bought the larger one first and that was a mistake. I should have bought this on first. The full sized should also be a tail dragger.

    • Not a good deal.
I have the full size version. This one is way under powered and won't stay under any control in a slight gust of 1 mph. Said 2 batteries came with one and only lasted for 2 minutes... full scale still best plane ever had.

This plane is easy to fly out the box, you may have to use some adjustments on the craft, 3 channel, good for the price.
