This really is an easy airplane to fly. I'd been away from flying for 30+ years. The new radio technology for SAFE and AS3X features made this very easy to re-start my hobby. I ordered this plane as my first model aircraft to learn on. I've crashed MANY times - the servos are easily replaced and i've been able to piece it back together every time good as new with some foam tac. This was not my first plane, but I wished It would have been. I bought two other planes as my first and second with terrible results. This the first plane I successfully flew. It is beefy and heavy enough not to be like a kite with a little bit of wind, and it is a thick styrofoam mold that can take some abuse. After you get some time in turn “Safe” off and experiment with loops and rolls. Paired mine with a Spektrum NX8. But the transmitter it comes with works great too! ... show more

My son bought a RC plane. Luckily he bought the warranty, as the first time he flew the plane it did a nose dive and was beyond repairable. Opened a claim and sent the plane back - postage paid by Asurion. Within one week he received an Amazon GC for the full amount he paid for the plane.
