I’d say better than catchsurf too and cheaper by about $50 at least. Took it out about an hour after receiving it and caught 5 or 6 waves. I'm local to San Diego, so actually visited their store in Pacific Beach to take a look at their boards before purchase. Stevie's wife helped answer questions at the store. I loved that this board has a beginner friendly soft top, a nice grippy surface, the stiffness of an epoxy/fiberglass board, and increased volume due to the foam core. Well designed hybrid, and I'm sure this will bring many years of fun as I continue my learning journey. Highly recommended for a great board to grow into. Just watched the cross cut video and that Is all I needed to see. Catch surf is exact the same as wave storm. Ho Stevie is glassed. Although I strongly disagree with his choice of oil for the chainsaw I will only be buying this brand for soft tops and fins for use in Hawaii.
