    • Not real impressed. Seems to cheap to hang expensive equipment on.
Picked this up to carry will my saddle gear and use it to hang my equipment while in the tree. The gear hangers are heavy duty with spikes on the back that grip the tree bark. The strap seems to be a sturdy strap that is sufficient for the load you would have on the gear hangers, however the buckle is plastic and I don't trust it to carry several thousand dollars worth of equipment while I'm hanging 20 ft up in a tree. The bow hanger is another drawback, as it has no spike to bit into the bark, it leans and tilts very easily, and I don't trust it to hang my gun or bow from due to the instability. Overall, it's not a bad setup, but I plan on changing the buckle and removing the bow hanger. I might decide to modify the bow hanger to keep from having to purchase something that is more stable, but the buckle is going to have to be replaced. Because of that it loses a star and might actually need to loose two stars. ... show more

This product is ok. The buckle is plastic vs metal. If you hunt in the north like I do you have experienced plastic breaking in the cold. The small hooks are good the large hook not som much as when you put any weight on it, it tilts over. Not one I would want to put a $1500 bow on.

    • Very sturdy hooks but.......
These hooks are made to where the belt weaves through them and the bow holder does as well. What i want to know is why was the bow holder made with out the little points that sink into the tree to help support the load but all 3 of the hooks have them. I dont know about you but id rather drop my calls and bag than my bow. All the hooks are covered with no slip grip. All in all its a great bow holder the only gripes about it i can say is the missing support points on the bow holder and the buckle being plastic. ... show more
