It does take two people to assemble and I believe the inner panels where a fireplace could go should be turned inside as not to show the holes but all in all a great purchase. Beautiful entertainment center. It does take time to build, but instructions are very self-explanatory took me about two hours, but I took breaks in between very sturdy. You will not be disappointed!
