The photo of the containers they have posted is showing a lot more fitting into them than really will. Some are so small, I have no idea what anyone is using them for.

    • Very small, not clear
Fabulous value for this many containers however there are a lot of very small containers that are just kind of useless. It depends on your purposes of course but several of the containers are large enough to hold like a dipping sauce or a stick of butter. Given the price, I suppose I shouldn’t have expected a bunch of large containers. Nonetheless I was still surprised. I’d say to pay attention to the size chart, but how many ml something fits doesn’t tell me much since I don’t know the metric system that well (I know I know, most of the world uses it). I wish they had the actual dimensions of each container. Besides the size of the containers, I will also note that they do not look like the photos. The photos show very clear containers so I thought they would be the nicer hard clear plastic that mimics glass. These are much more cloudy and more of a thin pliable plastic. Again, at this price I shouldn’t be surprised. Given the size and quality, these are a decent starter pack of food storage containers. Like if you’re a student or recently divorced and just need something cheap now while you worry about rebuilding your entire home, these are perfect! If you want something that’s high quality and looks nice, these are probably not the solution for you. ... show more

They are smaller than I anticipated. This is not the fault of the advertiser but mine as I simply did not do a conversion from liters to ounces. I still like them and have put them to good use as I've found the smaller sizes are just as useful for many of my needs.. They are a good quality at a very good price. ... show more

    • Nice storage containers
I like these a lot but only for for use at home. The lids are a bit hard to get on at first but they seal fairly well. The reason I am not a fan of using them for packed lunches is because the tabs are quite long making it very easy for something to accidentally unlatch it.

We finally decided to do something about our mismatched hodge-podge of food storage containers... we recycled them! The HKJ Chef set of Airtight Food Storage Containers looked like a simple solution for us so we tried them out. It seemed confusing at first, but it all sorted out pretty easily. These are metric sized containers, so it helped to pour some water from a measuring cup into them to get a feel of what they would hold. They have the metric size on the bottoms too: 2x round 240ml (8.1 oz) 2x round 300ml (10.1oz) 2x round 700ml (23.7oz) 2x square 350ml ( 11.8oz) 2x square 550ml (18.6oz) 2x rectangular 240ml (8.1oz) 2x rectangular 320ml (10,8oz) 2x rectangular 840ml (28.4oz) 2x rectangular 1000ml (33.8oz) We love the lids; they have four tabs around the edges and click into place. There is a silicone gasket seal so turning it over or upside down won't cause a leak or spill. These also came with a label set and white pen; wenfind a grease pen to be easier to use and wipe off when washing up, but for dry goods in a pantry, it's a nice addition to the set. We are glad we picked up this HKJ Set of Airtight Food Storage Containers. It's nice to have consistent sizes and lids that seal as well as they do! ... show more

These are great quality containers. The material is very thick, I'm not worried about them breaking like most containers do. I like that they are freezer safe, does not say microwave safe so I won't be microving them. Love the variety of sizes so I am taking up less space in my refrigerator. The kids have a silicone ring in the inside to make the extra airtight. The lids snap on easily and the snaps are on very good. Bonus that the come with labels and an erasable marker, great for marking dates instead of trying to figure out how many days. 5 stars, would recommend! ... show more

I really like the style of these storage containers as they are much more effective at keeping food airtight than the usual press down lids.They are thick and definitely will not break or crack easily.The tabs on the lid snap down on all sides and give a satisfying click to let you know it's closed.Includes multiple sizes and even comes with labels and a marker. ... show more
