    • Blocks optical drive on Inspiron 5570
I have an Inspiron 5570 and while the screws line up, the plug fits, I can track the wires and put it mostly back together.... I cannot get the optical drive back in because this one is about a qtr inch or so wider than the original. The drive smacks into it preventing me from putting it back in. I will probably just keep it, since I dont use the drive ever and the laptop never leaves my home, I just use it around the house for fun/personal and cant be bothered to deal with the return process. Maybe ill toss some tape or something over the opening to keep dust out. ... show more

My laptop's system fan gunked up and wasn't working. I found this replacement. It fit and works perfectly. I would recommend for Dell 15 3000 laptop use.
