Works in my nitro 5 AN515-54. Seems to be like is was before they got noisy. About 6k rpm on both. Fit wats good and install wasn't bad for a guy that knows just enough to get in trouble. I will edit review if the quit working prematurely.

The product arrived quickly (I ordered it on a Saturday night and it arrived at my home, Sunday afternoon). Both fans installed easily and without issue. They are quiet and work well.

    • Perfect Replacement
Perfect replacement for Acer Nitro 7 laptop fans. Quiet fans. There are two fans in the package, and apparently also included some small packets of thermal pastes. However i didn't use them so I cannot comment on those. Just make sure you check the orientation of the fans before replacing. Also note that you will need to detach a portion of the tape on the old fans in order to remove and replace them with the new ones. Didn't replace the tapes but apparently didn't affect the performance. ... show more

Would have given 5 stars except the first set of fans came out of the package looking worn and just spinning them with a finger made noise and rubbed against the housing. Clearly a QA mistake or something. Took a chance and reordered from same place and the new ones were perfect, looked new, and purr nicely. Ultimately happy with the purchase but had to be without a laptop for an additional several days. ... show more

    • Only 2/3 rpm of the orig; failed after 30 seconds
The headline says it all. These only ran at about 4000 rpm, where the original fans in my Acer Nitro AN515-54 run about 6000; and these fans failed after about 30 seconds in my computer. So, I had to put the old fans back in and return these. These might be okay for other computers, but I don't think they're for the AN515-54 . ... show more

    • Worked fine for a few days, now fans do not work at ALL.
I had waited almost a week for these fans to come in, and had Geek Squad install these fans due to lack of thermal paste experience and I wanted no issues since I was going on travel. After the installation they worked perfectly fine for about a week, and suddenly my fans have stopped spinning altogether and have been unable to find a troubleshooting solution. They worked quietly and efficiently when they worked, but now I'm facing an issue where I can no longer use my laptop effectively. If anyone has dealt with this issue it would be greatly appreciated if you were able to help. Do not suggest purchasing these fans. ... show more
