Pretty good, but like another reviewer mentioned, I also had badly bent pins on the power supply chip. The box is pretty small, but I think it could have fit it fine, most likely just careless packing. Also would be nice if they included some detail/voltage specs on the LED's and other parts.

Breadboard is junk. As soon as you insert a component in to the rails, it becomes loose, hence a bad connection. Component selection is ok, but you get what you pay for. Also, no instructions or projects to do.

mixed with another set, it has most of what I need to plan and test a electronic project. A beginner would have to expect to study some electronic projects to get the full use of the kit.

Ruined my L.E.D. matrix and microcontroller. Power supply fried my board and equipment the 5v output outputs 12v.

In general the kit is a fine collection of basic components. Unfortunately the one component I needed was complete junk. The breadboard power supply had been stepped on, and even worse, the power plug had been soldered in crooked and never would have been usable. Ordering backup now

First of all, unlike other reviewers, my unit had a power supply with straight pins. Everything was packed well and nothing was bent. All components worked well with no problems whatsoever. A little beginners instruction booklet or even simple web page for this would be nice.
