Hard rubber is definitely the way to go for longer lasting shower squeegies! I've tried the cheaper silicone ones, and they are fine for a while, but just don't hold up . this particular one has a metal handle, so it's a lot heavier. Beware- when it's wet or has soap on it, it can slip out of your hand. Other than that I highly recommend this particular squeegie. works well and will last longer than silicone ones, like you would want your windshield wipers to last. Same concept!

This is a really nice squeege. The handle is metal and has a good weight to it. We purchased the 10” model and like the width of it. We use it several times a day after showers. It took about a week to break in. We also like the cradle it came with, so much better than the suction ones.

I have not had a squeegee clean as well as this for my glass walls to the shower. It was so good I am buying a spare. I have had many of similar products and none worked as well and looked so good.

My other squeegee broke so I got this as a replacement and I love it. It hasn’t broken down at all, (last one from box store did). The rubber is durable and item has been scratch resistant. I use this in my shower.

Huge improvement over my silicone bladed squeegee, which left smudges on my glass doors. The 14" size really speeds up the work as well plus it allows me to sweep a bit higher on the shower walls if I angle it a bit. The handle is weighty to a degree that makes it feel substantial, but not too much to notice while using. I love the oil rubbed bronze color alongside my Delta oil rubbed bronze shower fittings. My only minimal disappointment is the adhesive pad is white and stands out against my very dark shower walls. I used a black permanent marker to disguise this, which hopefully will last. I'm expecting I'll only need to replace the rubber blade in the future as the construction appears to be quite durable.
