Installation:Step 1Open the box and confirm the quantity of your fitting frame accessories:6x elbows, 6x tees, 12x flanges, 12x long pipes, 9x short pipes, and the matching screws.Step 2Connect each long pipe to a flange.Step 3Assemble the short pipes, tees, and elbows together.Step 4Join the "short pipe assemblies" and "long pipe assemblies" together.Step 5Lay the assembly flat on a soft carpet and gently press down to ensure all parts are level.Step 6Repeat the steps to assemble another set.Step 7Please note that our product does not include wood planks. I love these shelves. They are exactly what we needed. We debated between this brand and another brand that was a little less expensive, but all reviews talked about how dirty the parts were. These parts were packed so well and there was no residue that rubbed off. They were easy to assemble, but I do suggest this being a 2-person project. I must say that the first set we got was missing a couple parts. My husband went to the local hardware store and found that the US parts are not the same size as the China parts. It would have meant replacing all parts except the pipes. So, we reported the issue to Amazon and a new shelf was shipped to us very quickly. I really can't find anything negative to say about this set. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars throughout is because of the missing parts issue and the fact that it does take 2 people to make assembly easy. ... show more

These shelves are great and a good value. However- be warned that installing them is going to take some time. Each circle bracket that screws to the wall has 4 openings. That means 4 screw holes per circle. It takes time to get everything lined up and leveled. The shelving itself is good quality, looks good and has been a great addition to the room. ... show more

I originally wanted to do a slight offset shelving but opted to wanting the middle row on at least one stud in the wall, that’s why you see the patch job on the wall. Pine steps is what I used(cost $15.00 USD per step) as shelves they were bought were from a big box home improvement store. I sanded the shelves with 220 grit sandpaper, pre-conditioned the shelves and stained afterwards. As for assembling the pipes and mounting them to the wall, that takes a bit more work and is a little tricky. Overall, it took me almost two hours by myself to install. My biggest suggestion is to do a loose dry fit of all the pipes and not over tighten them down. Because, when installing you will do them in sections/parts instead of all at once. The first part is dry fitting and installing the first straight pipe with flange and elbow. Once you found your spot to mount the first pipe, you will want to take note where the elbow is pointing, you will need to make adjustments so the elbow is pointing up and is snug NOT overly tighten. Next step is to put the short pipe into elbow, again snug not over tighten as you’ll need to adjust for the next pipe with flange. This next part is where pipes end up loose because of quality control. Attach the t-pipe, snug the piece up and line up the hole facing the wall. Turn the elbow 90 degrees left and attach next pipe and flange, then straighten out. Take note that sometimes you will have to loose the straight bar so you can slide the pipe and flange against the wall. I have a picture of my middle pipe and flange laying on the shelf but connected to the elbow. Repeat these steps for the rest of the pipes. Please make sure to use a leveling tool. ... show more

    • Won’t be tight when screwed together

I like how they look. But when everything is screwed together none of it lines up. When attached to the wall it doesn’t seem to matter. However I clearly have super uneven walls so now I have an almost inch of unevenness with the shelf on it.
