I was impressed! I does look like the ad pictures, the seldom happens. My 12 year old granddaughter picked it out & I was leery. The quality is very good overall. The metal seems strong. The wood slate boards are many & each screw into frame. This is for a teenager, but I think it would be sturdy enough for 2 adults, everyday. The frame does seem a little larger, but with bedding you wouldn’t notice. She & I were able put it together ourselves. The instructions were very, very clear. It is cute. Lots of screws, fairly easy assembly. Looks nice and was in good condition out of the box. My sleep certainly has been much improved compared to the nights on my old frame where I often felt like I was about to roll off the side. I used to think the mattress was completely to blame but I was wrong. This frame rocks.. and is about as solid as one.. no squeaky squeaky noises and a great nights sleep. So far it is nice I am currently in the process of putting the bed together and it is straight forward and pretty simple. My complaint is that in the description it says, “ Everything you need for assembly comes zipped up in a compartment behind the headboard for convenience.”, but this is not the case and it also does not have a compartment to store the pieces if you took the bed apart. This is literally 90% of the reason why I bought this bed frame because it would make moving it a breeze but this is not the case. So if this is also the reason why you plan to purchase the frame don’t buy it cause there is no storage for the pieces. It does look the photos and I appreciate that. ... show more

I’ve had this frame for about a year now. It is very sturdy and pretty. It has recently started squeaking but minimally. The one feature I really don’t like is that the headboard is not flush with the frame so there is a big gap that pillows fall down through.

I love this bed frame! It was easy to put together as long as you follow the directions and having a drill helps it go by faster! The color is great and the support underneath the mattress is amazing! Be careful with the wooden supports it’s easy to get a splitter from them! It says the material is velvet and it’s not which I was hoping for because I hate velvet. There’s enough height that if you wanted to store soft storage bags underneath you could. The frame is light and I was worried that during aerobic sessions the bed would slide on the wood floors or be loud but it didn’t move at all and there’s wasn’t ANY squeaking or creaking! ... show more

I am incapable of putting anything together, and I somehow managed to correctly put this entire bed together! Just be careful when you’re putting on the side pieces as I did put one upside down and had to essentially restart. Super easy to put together, but is definitely time consuming!
