Once you get your old parts off it’s a breeze. It was easy to install. Pkg came on time. You can not beat the price. I know on some reviews to expect to be 1.5 years of use but I gotta ask was proper maintenance done for it to be longer?You still can’t beat the price compared to what retail stores try to get you for. For the most part, it’s very easy to install. The exception is the replacement of the lighter module. The problem is that plugging it in to the black box, controller, is difficult because access to that is very restricted. I would recommend that if you don’t have to replace it you don’t, but if you do you have to disassemble the front box. ... show more

This worked very well the first year after replacing the original parts of our grill. Over time the heat output gradually went down, almost considered getting another grill but couldn't justify throwing away the perfectly good shell of our grill and spending another $300 to $400 on a new one.
