    • Hipshot makes good stuff.
My A string had a very shallow break angle over the nut. I replaced the two-string tree with this. It works great, looks good and it's easy to install. I drilled two pilot holes, and the new tree hides the original hole.

I put these on every Fender bass I buy. Adding retention to the A string is vital for me to prevent ringing. Quality is great. Adds more string to wood contact, improves break angle. Overall, the first upgrade I do to a bass.

    • It’s solid and appears to fit just about any Fender-type bass.
I quickly drew up and made a neck to fit a Bronco bass body that I was given. I carelessly placed the tuners too far from the nut. This product saved me. It holds down three higher strings and keeps them from buzzing.

These do the job in maintaining the beak angle of your bass strings. They are not difficult to put on and they look great

Works fine and seems to fit. However, once you get this in your hands, I'm amazed at how much we pay for a tiny piece of mediocre quality metal. Came with screws unlike some other listings.
