I like that it will do the job well. I am an elderly woman who suffers from a mess of maladies including muscle loss and a mild stroke. Add a mess of meds and I am unsteady and weak, resulting in falls. Most often I can get up by myself, but occasionally I have a turtle-on-back fall and need help from my live-in son/ caretaker. I needed a new whistle for recess duty. So far, this works great - sharp, loud, clear, and responsive. Loud enough to carry across the playground, and it cuts through screaming, laughing kids in the gymnasium. The bumper on the mouthpiece works as a bumper on my ID keyring and keeps the plastic from rattling too much. Worthwhile investment.
