Purchased 5/24/2020, arrived 5/28/2020. There were the perfect touch to complete the new island my husband just built for me. Now I can't wait to paint the cabinets. About stools: 1. Arrived packaged very well and without damage, even with one of the three boxes arrived torn open on one side. 2. All hardware, pieces, & directions, were present. 3. Directions were explicitly simple and very easy to follow. Took about 30 minutes to assemble the first one and then about 20 minutes for the other two, without the need to reread the directions. (One assembling - a 54 yr old female). I could have waited for my husband to get home from work, but I was so excited I couldn't wait to see them at my island). Suggest finding a better tool as there are many screws and allen wrench has such short "handle" I had to put on padded glove (used a snow glove) to tighten the screws. Hubby had a better tool to tighten with, again, I was like a kid on Christmas morning and didn't want to wait. 4. Stools are sturdy and very comfortable. As you can see, they are the perfect size. These are 26" stools, seat height. Cushion is about 2" thick. As they just arrived & assembled yesterday, 5/28, I can only speak to the expectation of them holding up over time. 5. Husband and I sat on them to eat dinner and they were very comfortable. Bottom ring was perfect height for foot rest and excellent width and shape (square) as it did not hurt my bare feet. 6. I couldn't believe I was willing to pay such a steep price, and wish they cost a lot less, for bar stools, but am so glad I found these. ADDED NOTES: 2/6/2021 - purchased 3 more in Dec. 2020, put taller legs on dining table and now I have my dream dining set. ... show more

I am writing this review to share my experience with you. I purchase a set of 5 high chair few months ago. it was a great decision. First the look of the chair is amazing. My kitchen looks like it has received a serious make over. The bright color open up the space, it seems larger that what it was. The chairs are very sturdy. They do not warble or rocking. The cushions are very comfortable. It did not take a long time to assemble the chairs. No special tools needed to put them together. If you are on a budget and hope to update your kitchen, you should consider those chair. You will not regret it. Those chairs are wonderful ... show more

It killed me to send these back - they are GORGEOUS chairs. They are heavy, sturdy shiny and they would have looked perfect in my kitchen if the upholstery wasn't so dark. The item was listed as "ivory" and when your kitchen is white, ivory is fine - as my experience is even when bar stools are marketed as white, they aren't pure white. So considering the reviews, I went ahead and ordered them. I took one out of the box and it looked much darker than ivory but I put one together hoping it would be okay because I loved it so much. It wasn't - the color of the upholstery is more a sand color and it just looked dirty against my white counter. If you have ever shopped for a wedding dress and have seen ivory next to white, ivory is really light and that would have been passable. This was like the color of beach sand and it broke my heart. I would have ordered the darker set but I could not find anyone who had them in stock. So sad. ... show more

Could have been easy to assemble but it only had two legs. I contacted the company. And they were very negative and said they did not stock parts.

I was looking for nice sturdy chrome bar stools for the longest time. I was a little afraid about the color on these because I needed a cream color. They arrived and were fairly easy to assemble. I was impressed with the sturdy legs and firm cushion. They are a cream color not white, more closer to a sand shade than beige. But definitely not white. I would give 5 stars but they did come without the little leg pads at the bottom of one...no big deal though I ran to HD and got some. I'm so pleased with the quality and happy with my purchase ... show more

Previous purchasers noted challenges with the base (don't tighten screws until both pieces are attached), but I had trouble locking in the back. I finally used soap to lubricate and a rubber mallet to make sure the back was securely attached before screwing it to the base. I also just used the screws (without washer). It was the easiest way to connect to the base. They were also a bit larger than I thought for my Island, but fortunately I could put 3 across and one to the side. ... show more

    • Great chairs, a serious bastard to assemble!

Love the chair, we have 4 and they are exactly what we had in mind. However, assembly is a serious challenge. The first one I assembled was great and I thought, this is going to be a breeze! The others, there was no breeze! As I had 4 of them I ended up mixing and matching the parts from all the other 3 in order the parts to fit. They include a hex wrench to attach the screws, but a hammer was needed to make a number of the parts fit. Although they are great chairs, I think they need go back to the drawing board and take a look at their tolerances and finishes. ... show more
