Purchased this chair in black. I would have given 5 stars if it weren’t for the cheap paint job. I know, eventually, I will need to repaint the chair. Beware, when buying chairs stating Used in good condition at a discount price. I discovered items that are returned are resold by Amazon and not by the dealer. ordered 4 chairs, used, in good condition and out of 4 chairs, one arrived with a torn vinyl seat. Contacted Hillsdale Furniture and they wouldn’t send me a new vinyl seat because I didn’t pay full price for the chair. It appeared when items are returned to Amazon, they don’t bother to check the return for damages, they just rebox the item and resell it, without any quality control. ... show more

This bar stool was perfect for what I was looking for. It's sturdy, it swivels very nicely, and it looks great in my kitchen. The color was as described. It's pretty comfortable to sit on. It takes a little while to assemble, and my husband used some of his own tools to assemble it. This stool was easy to assemble, is comfortable and moves smoothly. The only thing I wish I’d noticed ahead of time-and I really feel the directions should say-is that there is a place in the cushion that SHOULD line up with the chair back. I didn’t notice that until the seat was in place. We have just moved and unpacking is overwhelming, so I will take the stool cushion off and replace it another day. Rats! ... show more

These barstools, while nice, are too short for a counter bar. They left out the measurements from ground to seat ( about 24 inches) so, I didn’t know until I had the first one assembled. They are nice. I’m keeping them strictly bc they are assembled and it’s a huge pain to send back! Just beware they are not for counter bars! ... show more
