This is an attractive, sturdy chair. Materials are nicely packaged, include a hex wrench, and all the screws are the same size which makes it easy to assemble. Instructions are minimal, however, and an extra pair of hands is helpful. It moves smoothly across the floor, but has good traction. This is my second Hilldale vanity stool and I like this one better than the first. I was easy to assemble and feels really sturdy. I also like the look of the stool with the white seat, it fits the spa look I am going for in my bathroom.

Fairly easy to assemble, however we found that one leg is slightly shorter. We remedied it by placing a small cushion piece at the bottom of the foot that evened it out. Comfortable and sturdy. It’s a brushed silver paint but wish it were more of a chrome finish. The seat is upholstered in an off-white soft fabric. May have to recover at some point in the future. My fiancee loves this. Very well made and pretty, fits perfectly under the bathroom vanity when not in use. Take your time in assembling it. Be sure and leave all the screws loose until it's completely assembled and then set it up on it's feet and then begin to tighten the screws so it will have no wobbles. Tehn turn it over and really tighten everything after it's fully adjusted. It was very good before but I loosened it all up and then did the tighten with chair upright and then it was perfect with no wobble. Otherwise, one leg was off maybe 1/16 inch max, just enough to be annoying. ... show more

I bought this product for my daughter's birthday. It was very easy to put together, and overall I am very pleased with how it looks. My only issue is that it arrived damaged. There is a huge scratch in the finish and a large dark smudge on the cushion. Going to try calling customer service number and see if I can get a replacement. I would give it 5 stars if it weren't damaged. ... show more

This chair is so lightweight, that if you even toss a couple of articles of clothing on the back of it, it will tip over. Whatever you do, don’t even think about leaning back in the slightest bit, or you will tip over. It makes a nice presentation, but use it carefully.

After chucking another vanity stool we just purchased, this replacement is the Goldilocks chair…..just right! It was easy to assemble, and fits our space perfectly. It glides easily on the floor, without scratching the floor surface. It’s light weight, but not flimsy. It would be nice if the seat fabric were a darker color, so staining wouldn’t be an issue.
