He has graduated from high quality wet food to dry hills SCIENCE DIET puppy kibbles. He is a little miffed as he LOVED the wet puppy food but he is eating the dry Lamb with no problems or hesitation. He loves it but has his own little ritual and order for breakfast and he is very particular how and when it is served. BHe doesn't scarf his food. He eats breakfast and leaves a little for lunch and then he is served another cup for dinner. He is extremely athletic, active, smart, and behaves much better than the older dogs where I live. After losing my service dog that was my companion, best friend and confidant for 17 years I was hesitant aboutgetting another young dog at 82. I brought him home at 8 weeks and he is a total joy, full of anticipation and eager to please. I wish I could be more active as he is very agile and active but at 8 months he is showing his caring Cocker side by being patient and waiting on me and my walker and stepping between me and another when we stop to visit. His way of saying "I've got this, don't worry" and he will stand patiently waiting to go on...I've had many breeds from cockers, dalmatians, border collies, Aussies, labs, rescues and lastly 2 cockers. None are alike, but ALL are the best if you spend time with them and love them. BUT they need a purpose and like all of us, they feel accomplishment when given a job to do and praise for doing it. ... show more

This food was great for my pup! When I rescued him he was malnourished but also still a puppy and this food really helped him gain the weight he needed to start being a happier pup. We have used Hill’s in the past for our cats and will continue to use Hill’s for dogs and cats alike. The first picture in my review is when we first got him and the second it the most recent just to show how much this food has helped him grow. ... show more

My new Shepard pup loves his food ,and the vet says it’s great food ,that he needs ,,so I’m happy with it ,,just wish they would pack it better wen it’s delivered 2 times a month ,,due to being tossed around and breaking open ,,,the dog 🐕 food itself is great ,,
