  • Worth the higher price
Size: 15.5 Pound (Pack of 1)
My cats fur has become extremely soft , their skin has improved a great deal. They no longer scratch as much. They all have stopped vomiting too. I'm very impressed with the quality of this food and the results. It's definitely worth the higher price. I highly recommend it.

  • Quality for my peace of mind; tasty for them
Size: 7 Pound (Pack of 1)
I prefer this brand, Science Diet, because I know it's quality food. Not the crummy stuff you find at the grocery store. I buy this flavor because it's the cats favorite. I haven't noticed a difference with their skin or the amount of hairballs since we switched but I do know they enjoy it which makes me happy. Also, my two love the size of this kibble compared to some of the other ScienceDiet options. This kibble is small and bite-sized so the cats don't fight with it like they do some larger cat foods. Even the stray cat I've been feeding and trying to catch loves it! Good food. Wish it was cheaper but gotta do whats best for the cats. (: ... show more

  • Works well for itchy cat
Size: 7 Pound (Pack of 1)
I was in search for something, anything to relieve my cat and her crazy itching. She scratched herself bloody and bald in some areas. I had her on the instinct brand of cat food. I first switched from Hills science diet when I got her home from the ASPCA . And every 6 weeks or so, I noticed a new bald spot. This went on for a while and I started searching for supplements and was not successful, she wouldn't eat it. Then I finally i figured it was the food and decided to switch her back to Hills. I came across this healthy skin food and thought why not and it works! I haven't seen not one bald spot since I switched her and she loves the chicken flavor. I even get her the wet food. It's all expensive but worth it. ... show more

  • After years of searching....
Size: 7 Pound (Pack of 1)
Years ago we adopted a stray female cat who was pregnant. She had three little boys, and although we did find a forever home for one of them, we couldn't find homes for the other two so we kept them (and their mother). These two kittens looked the same (Tabby), yet were like night & day. One always weighed more than the other and was a darker red-orange than his brother and never had any health issues growing up. The other, however, always had digestive issues (would gobble his food, then get sick, or have very soft stool). He was always thinner, but very energetic. We figured he could be allergic to something in his food (canned & dry) so we tried many different foods over the years. I even took him to the vet around the age of three to see if they could find anything specific, like IBS. They could not. The best we found that gave him the least amount of problems several years ago was Purina One Sensitive System dry food, which he did pretty well on for years....his symptoms weren't as bad. The other cats liked it too. But about two or three years ago (?) the recipe may have changed because he and the rest of the cats no longer liked the food and the name changed to Sensitive Skin & Stomach. About that time the whole "Grain-Free" craze went wild, so we started trying our cats on various grain-free foods. Now our vet is telling us to avoid grain-free....that it isn't good for cats. Oiy! So, we again started trying different brands and flavors and finally landed on Hill's Science Diet Dry Cat Food, Adult, Sensitive Stomach & Skin after finally getting a diagnosis for our cat. He has a type of Irritable Bowel Syndrome with a thicker intestinal wall or "loops" as our vet calls it (a biopsy showed no cancer). In addition to an anti-inflammatory, our vet had us try Science Diet ZD (canned), which our cat really liked for several weeks, and occasionally will eat it now. Our vet didn't have the Z/D dry the day I was there, so I checked Amazon and found this Hill's Science Diet Dry Cat Food, Adult, Sensitive Stomach & Skin two months ago. It seemed to have an optimal balance of carbs to protein so I decided to try it. It arrived the next day. All four cats really like this food, to the point that we're quite shocked. They still eat canned food twice a day (Like Fancy Feast, Purina Beyond, Science Diet Sensitive Stomach & Skin canned), but we keep two dishes of the dry food available for in between canned meals. I just ordered our third 7 pound bag (we go through one 7 pound bag per month for four cats). P.S. The way I test how well they like various food is to put three or four different brands/flavors out in different dishes and monitor which foods disappear and which do not (& who is eating the food). I'll replace the untouched foods with a different one, keeping track all along, even revisiting a previously passed-up food. This Science Diet Sensitive and been the consistent favorite for the past two months. Note: The 7-pound bag has a Velcro® enclosure that is not airtight, so be sure to secure the bag.....after rolling down the closed bag opening, put a couple of bag clips to hold it closed....we always use the black and silver binder clips for everything...way cheaper than "bag clips" ... show more

For the amount I think the price was a little bit high but I was desperate to get some food seems to be OK. I just started it but does need to be adjusted in price for the amount you get.

  • My cats love it!
Size: 15.5 Pound (Pack of 1)
I have 2 cats, both nearly a year old. I had been feeding them the Hills Science Diet Indoor Kitten chicken flavor dry food since the day I adopted them. One of my cats has a very sensitive stomach and after her most recent vomiting spree, I had to look for other food options for her sensitive stomach. I did some research online and read reviews from other people about the Hills Science Diet Sensitive Stomach and Skin and decided to give it a try. My cats both immediately loved it! I noticed they would actually pick out the new kibble over their old kitten kibble, so the transition to the sensitive stomach food went way more smoothly and quickly than I had expected. It has been nearly a month since I swapped them over to the Sensitive Stomach and Skin formula dry food, and my sensitive cat has not had any vomiting or tummy issues. I got the chicken flavor bag because my cats prefer chicken, but I did notice there is also a seafood flavor available (in case your kitty prefers seafood). The food is a bit pricey but I feel that the quality of the food, and because my cats love it, makes it worth the money. The bigger bag costs a couple dollars less per pound than the smaller bag, so I put the big bag on my Amazon subscription list. I included a photo with my review to help provide a visual comparison of the kibble. The left side is what I was feeding my cats previously (Hills Science Diet Indoor Kitten) and the right side is the Hills Science Diet Sensitive Stomach and Skin dry food. ... show more

  • Great for my senior and FIV positive cat
Size: 7 Pound (Pack of 1)
This food has worked wonders for my little guy! As he’s often sick or just dealing with old age, he’s struggled a lot with multiple dry foods over the last few years but this food has been easy to digest and easy on his stomach (alongside his medications too). He loves it and although it’s more expensive then what I’m used to, the benefits make it all worth it! It’s my second time rebuying and it came within two days of placing my order. Very happy with this product!:) ... show more

My cats LOVE this food! Great brand never disappoints. My vet even brought up how healthy my babies were at the last appointment and said to keep them in the food I’m giving them because it’s working well!
