These are definitely not designed for humid or wet environments like next to the sink in the kitchen since they are MDF and have some of the mdf showing where the metal bracers for screws are, but they are pretty well constructed. Pros: The holes in the mdf boards have holes with metal bracing to hold the screws so the MDF doesn't have tiny, breakable screw holes but are well reinforced for longer term durability. Instructions were present but not necessary as all you had to do was put the screws into the holes. There was an extra metal turning thingy (Allen wrench? Hex key?) in case you didn't have a screw driver with a hexagonal bit of the right size (since if the handle was too large the screwdriver would not fit between the metal legs). The taller of the shelves fits 32 oz and 24 oz pasta jars under them which is useful if you repurpose glass jars and reuse them to hold tea or powders that are annoying to take put from bags. It turns put that the bamboo shelves are too short for this purpose. You can even build them so they have flat tops (gives more surface area to store things on top) or with longer legs to store taller items under it by changing where you screw the legs together. These are better for stacking since the stacked shelves are screwed together instead of placed on top without securing them (which is how the competitor's bamboo shelves stack) Cons: The stickers on every board and metal that need to be removed are way too sticky and leave sticky glue residues. I tried the trick where you stick the sticker over the sticky residue to remove the glue and more stickers stuck to the surface instead. The manufacturer should talk to 3M and get less sticky glue like those used for those yellow sticky notes (the ones that aren't sticky and don't leave residue but somehow stick well). Also one of the panels was cracked a little so you can see the mdf. I put it towards the back so it isn't visible on a daily basis but maybe the packaging could be a bit better padded. There was no pads for the bottom feet to protect a laminate countertop or cabinets shelves from these organizer shelf legs if the metal legs slid across them but I supposed the point is that the shelves stay put (not slide around) I was not paid for this review and I paid for the products myself (but I did get a great Prime day discount) ... show more

One of the metal frames was a little damaged but put it in the back and you can’t see it the way I’m using them. They are easy to assemble, are really sturdy, and look great.
