Speed was not as advertised. Heavy duty frame and materials. The front motors could be installed a different way to protect them and the wires on the front axles.

We love this car! At first I thought it was slow but found out that’s only if you just use the remote. If you press the pedal this thing flys! Downside: this car is very hard to turn the wheel. My son wants to turn it but isn’t strong enough to do it.

I bought this car for my grandson who is five. I liked the fact that it’s a 24 V system as opposed to 12 V, and I like the four-wheel-drive. Assembly is pretty complicated and time-consuming. Most things went together like they were supposed to from the instructions, but there were a couple of things that I never figured out: how to correctly install the steering wheel on the steering column, and what to do with the two extra pieces that I ended up with. Nevertheless, I’m glad I put it together, because I think I can judge how well it’s designed. It seems to me that it’s pretty rugged, the essential things that need to work hard or designed well. The four separate motors, one on each wheel, seem like a good idea too. I gave it to him for his birthday in May, so he’s used it for a good three months. And he’s not gentle with it. He rides it on the street and in his front yard, over bumps, up, steep hills, and has a great time. He wanted to go fast, and he hasn’t complained that it’s not fast enough yet. I’m going to get another one from the same company in January for my three year-old granddaughter.

It took about half an hour for us to unbox and assemble this 4x4. The only tool needed that wasn't included was a Phillips screwdriver. It also takes AAA batteries for the remote control and AA batteries for the light bar, but the vehicle works perfectly well without either of those. The main battery is built in and cannot easily be removed for charging. The windshield frame snaps in with no screws but comes loose if you pull on it. Soft start works well, and the bands of rubber around the middle of each wheel add good traction on smooth surfaces. I wish there were a battery level indicator. Most importantly, the kid loves it! He was immediately whizzing up and down the grassy hill, looping around trees and behind the shed, and giving his friends rides. Two young children fit easily.
