I built a chain link fence using wooden posts and used these to secure the tension wire at the top and bottom and also the fence fabric to each posts. These worked great for that purpose. Over a year later the fabric is still tight and I have noticed no straps that have broken. I also used stainless steel screws so I expect these to last as long as the posts do. The can twist while installing if the screw is the wrong size, driven at an angle, or overdriven. I may have twisted a couple installing but 99%+ went in with no issues at all. A bit pricey for not having screws that come with it. Appears to be some sort of stainless. We will see how they hold up. They are in the thin side and bent very easily.

I have split rail fence so I had to use chicken wire to keep my dogs in the yard. Used a staple gun to initially secure it but those would constantly pop out so I bought these. Have had no issues since. Good quality screws that sink into my fence easily and they have held up to my neighbors kid kicking his soccer ball into my fence so I think they’ll hold up pretty well in the long run. ... show more
