I have used this tent twice (for a total of 4 nights) so here are my impressions so far: It was a little tricky to set up the first time. The color coding was slightly confusing at first. In the video it only shows one connector hub that the poles connect into. There are actually six. But once I figured out which direction each one was supposed to face and connected the poles, set up was pretty easy. The first time I used this tent, it was very windy both days, with winds reaching up to 20 mph for a sustained period of time. I was camping on sand and did not have it staked into the ground. I only had it attached with the guy lines to a 5 gallon bucket of sand on each corner. It held up very well. The poles and frame seem very sturdy and well constructed. It stood up to the wind very well. I have not used it in rainy weather yet, so I do not know whether it would leak or not. In the description, it says it could be used for backpacking, I would definitely not recommend that. It is pretty heavy, and fairly large. Perfect for car camping though. I wish there were windows on all four sides instead of just front and back. As other reviews said, the zipper does tend to snag easily, so it can be a little annoying at times, especially if you're fumbling with it in the middle of the night. The bag that it comes in is nice because it has a little extra room. Most tents are almost impossible to get back in their bag. But there's enough extra room, that I was able to fit my 8'x10' ground tarp in the bag with it also. ... show more

    • Good tent, but the zippers are a bit finicky

Fairly easy to set up, color-coded poles are a nice touch, but the front door zippers are a bit prone to jamming. Very waterproof (at least at first), we got a bit of a rainstorm the first night and everything stayed very dry inside (in fact, the rain fly even retained about a quart of water!).

The media could not be loaded. I am 5 3 and this tent was not difficult to set up. I set up the top part then added the 4 side legs which was so easy. The top rainfky was also easy once I got 2 corners set and in less than 10 minutes this tent was up. My hubby is 6 3 and he still had room to stand and not hit the top of the tent when inside. I would recommend this tent as it will hold a cot, air mattress or any other sleeping accessories with plenty of room for a small table to hold heater, you can even put a chair in it. The skylight I like to call it is so nice if it's a nice summer night and you want a panoramic view of the stars. I am very excited to use this on my next trip versus setting it up in my backyard. My husband and I bought this tent 2 years ago and have not regretted it once, it is sturdy, easy to put up, and very comfortable. Absolutely love this tent, but some things could have been better. The sky screens are amazing and this has terrific air flow, especially with a little fan. Can fit a queen sized air mattress. Love how easy it is to set up, the space and height made me so happy! Love the color! “Red” is rust orange just as the picture shows which I was hoping for. Super spacious for such a reasonably small footprint! As for the cons: the front of the tent only has one side that opens as a door, if it had both the bed could be in the middle and that would give a lot more flexibility in setup. The most important thing however is the zippers are terrible! One upper corner of my tent looks like maybe it is stretched/sewn slightly off and maybe that made the issue worse but there would be issues no matter what-the zippers are so hard to work! The whole zipper track of my door seems like it’s pulled slightly apart, it is really hard to work and gets stuck every time-EVERY TIME! Also instead of one zipper it is a separate one at the bottom. The flap that covers the zipper is so long that even when I hold it open with my other hand and am super careful it gets stuck on that extra fabric, and when you work the zipper from inside it usually gets stuck before you can fit your hand out to hold it out of the way. I don’t know why all companies are not using the y22k zippers! The entire zipper system is so low quality. They work fine for the windows, but not for a door. They could have saved expenses by just adding a quality zipper to the door and cheating out on the others. Made a tent I am super happy with into one u wanted to kick a hole though after one weekend! Also, there is only one hook up top near the door. I feel they missed an opportunity to add some ties to the top of the tent for more places to hang things because the poles are excellent and can totally take the weight. I get that it is a super cheap tent but it would have been so little time and effort to do that. ... show more

The large family tent is super strong in design and flexibility! This is what my family loves after using it! First of all, after the tent is set up, a special electronic port can be seen, and the power supply can be easily connected to the tent through the port. Secondly, the materials of the tent are waterproof and anti-ultraviolet. The fixed hooks of the tent are also made of steel bars and steel poles, and the reinforced frame makes the tent stable even in windy and rainy weather!
