Just returned from our annual Michigan camping trip in multiple locations. It rained and stormed with wind gusts 30 mph at times during our trip. We are experienced campers and always put a tarp up above out tent, no rainfly unless it reaches the ground on all sides will be able to handle sustained rain or windy storms with some wet spots. We have used Coleman, Ozark trail tents before, this one was a little more lightweight than the other two but very well made. We only had a tiny quarter sized puddle in one corner after 16 hrs of rain in the side the tarp didn’t fully cover. The windows are completely waterproof as is the door. It should be noted that waterproof level is greatly impacted by whether this tent is on a level surface so no wrinkles in the floor or walls. It is very simple to set up, best with two people, took us 25 min the first time, 15 the second. It is 4 poles going in sleeves and one for the roof over the porch. It folds easily back into the ample tote bag it comes with. The tote bag is sturdy and the tent ends up much more compact than even my last 5 person tent. The rainfly is adequate, it makes the tent have lots circulation on those hot and sticky nights. There is no way 8 people could comfortably fit, I would say more like 4 adults and maybe 2 kids with all of your gear. If you only have sleeping things in the tent then maybe 8. We had a queen sized cot, two camping chairs, two tote bags of clothes, and four rubbermaid containers with plenty of floor space. There are several loops to hang lanterns from. Only two small wall pockets, which is the only thing i would change. I would buy this tent again. I chose the light blue and it really stood out where we were camping. I encourage anyone camping for the first time to look up how to tarp to make any tent waterproof!

This tent is everything I never knew I needed. It is huge. The pictures online make it look roomy, but in person, it is even bigger. I set it up in the yard just to make sure everything was there and working before an actual trip, and I was blown away. It only took me about twenty-five minutes to put together completely by myself. That alone speaks volumes. Setting up a tent used to feel like a punishment. Hours of frustration, confusing instructions, and always needing someone to hold this or pull that. This one was a breeze. I did not even break a sweat. The design is so well thought out. There are several storage spots inside that are perfect for books, phones, or little odds and ends. There is also a hook at the top for hanging a lantern. The screened ceiling is my favorite part. You can lie back and see the stars clearly with nothing in the way. It also comes with a rainfall cover that fits securely over the top. The construction feels sturdy, the sewing looks clean, and the material is strong. I really like the power cord slot. It seals tightly with Velcro so you do not have to leave a zipper cracked open to run power inside. Everything about this tent makes sense. Even though I have not taken it on a trip yet, just setting it up once told me this is going to be a completely different camping experience. In the best way.

The tent design creates lots of headroom. Door zipper has a good design, making it easy to open and close. Lots of opportunity for airflow. Tent poles are carbon fiber and the outer most poles split under the bend. Recommend replacing both outside poles with stainless steel poles. Still worth it.

Was pretty easy to put together and take down when I got the hang of it. There is so much space in it I could probably fit like 4 queen size air mattresses and still have room for bags. Feel durable and the hole size is easy to walk though don’t have to bend much at all and I’m 5’2. I feel like it would resist wind well. Fits really small into a decent size duffle bag about the size of a carry on. Great for storage… I have used this several times now and it’s so easy to put up takes me less than 5 minutes! Such a great buy!

The size was great, lots of room. We fit our queen air mattress, and had plenty of room for a twin air mattress as well and be comfortable. The design is poor though, we live on the big island of Hawaii so we don’t have much dirt for the pins which the design depends on. The poles don’t stand up unless it’s pinned out. The zippers are very poor too.

We are in love with this tent. Purchased to use as a temporary structure to use our projector when our granddaughters come during weekends. It has held up to everything mother nature has thrown at it. Rain, wind, hail, it is still standing. This tent is large enough for a base camp. It has plenty of sleeping room and is perfect for glamping as well. Was not difficult to assemble but will require more than one person, if possible. Well worth our investment. It has 2 side mesh pockets inside the tent to store your cellphone, sunglasses or other small items if you need to while keeping all organized and within reach. All materials are of excellent quality, poles, stakes, the liner for the tent, the zippers open and closed very smoothly, excellent all the way, great quality and value. We put a standalone air conditioner inside, and it works perfect! Great design, great material, great product! Highly recommend!

Did NOT take 15 minutes to put together. If you plan on having 0% chance for rain, this would be an ok tent. Would not recommend for 10 people. I used this for a ten day military training in the field and only 3 people with single cots fit comfortably in this along with our gear. The first night the entire tent flooded. Water leaked through every zipper, seam, even through the rain fly soaking us and all of our stuff. Zipper on the door stuck every single time you went in or out. Very poor quality. I’ve missed the return window by two days and have only been home for three.
