I was thinking about this product for a while and when I got it, it was worth the purchase. Make sure to air it out in mattress form when you first get it. This is basically a mattress with foam cubes stuffed inside a beanbag cover, so you could use the mattress somewhere else in the house and stuff the beanbag cover with stuffed animals or something else if you wanted but I typically keep the mattress in the beanbag. It's on the heavier side but I can drag it to wherever I want in the house. I don't use the pocket all that much but I can honestly fall asleep on it just in beanbag form. You don't really notice the foam squares when you have it as a bean bag. It is a bit hard to sit upright in it if you don't have it up against a wall. I would note it is the perfect size for me (a 5'4" adult) but it would probably be a little less comfortable for someone taller than me.

This thing is amazing it is so comfortable. It came in a box that was about 18 in by 18 in but within 30 minutes it expanded to at least 3 ft across. It has enough room for me and my small dog to cuddle up on it. It's a perfect place to study or meditate. I do wish the fabric of the mattress was the same as the fabric of the ball but it's still good. It's very well put together and seems durable. Which is good because it's going to get tossed around and balled up and used a lot. Great product and thank you so much.

I absolutely love this! the quality is definitely a 10/10! Great for movie night, or an extra sleeping area! I ordered the Queen and it’s the perfect size! No issues with reverting it back to a bing bag! I would definitely purchase this again.

I thoroughly read reviews and videos for the queen sized bean bag mattress. It’s important to emphasize THE MATTRESS COVER WILL NOT COME OFF TO WASH which is misleading in the description. It seems implied due to a zipper but it is just a small pocket in comparison to the size of the mattress. The off gassing is really aweful. I have 2 large air purifiers running and I can still smell the chemicals after a few hours. The foam may be as if more comfortable than lovesac but Lovesac fill has no off gassing. Returns are difficult it comes packaged dense in about a 14 square box. The. Mattress expands to a ashapeless blob the size of a substantial loveseat. Tho still could be a great game room item if you have space but the off gassing is really aweful. Maybe some reviewers did not take the mattress insert out on the first day. I was going to be transferring to a dept to arrange a pick up return but somehow got disconnected. There is no way to ship back unless you have a refrigerator box and can get to UPS. When the bean bag cover is put back on the off gassing is less severe which would explain some of the mixed reviews of smell.

Update: Customer service promptly contacted me with a solution, offering us a replacement or full refund due to the issues we had. It looks like most customers are happy with this product, so hopefully ours was not the norm. Updating review for their customer service. This product was HUGE even the smaller size. It does not have a natural shape to sit in, and no real “give” to sink into, so not really comfortable as a seat. We decided to unzip it to at least use it as a crash pad for the kids. When we went to stuff it back into the cover (two person job) the seam ripped and the zipper broke. You can’t return this product unless you repackage it, which is such a joke because it came in a tightly wrapped bag with air sucked out. They know no one will hassle returning this. Wasted $100
