Great SUP for beginners. I've never been on one of these before and bought a house on a lake a few years ago so decided to try it out. This board is easy to inflate with the pump that comes with it and takes about 15 minutes to blow up. Easy to carry- our dock is across the street and it's no problem taking it over there (weighs about 20-25lbs when inflated). Personally I find it hard to balance on it when standing but that is due to my own skill level, so I like to sit on it and it works just fine that way too. It has metal hardware on the board if you wanted to buy a kayak seat and attach it. I would suggest to Highpi to maybe include a double-sided paddle or way to convert it to a double-sided paddle for ease of use for those who prefer sitting. I would recommend this board for beginners or anyone who likes the convenience of being able to bring a SUP with them easily.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve never used a SUP before, but I saw a woman at a local state park on one while paddling around in my inflatable kayak. I asked her about it, and she said it was also inflatable so I searched Amazon ad bought this one because of a promotional coupon and great reviews! I took it out today for the first time and it took a little getting used to, but after an hour or so I was paddling around just fine and having a blast! Do some research before taking it out, watch videos on paddle strokes and where to stand, but honestly it wasn’t all that tough at all. The stability of this board is enhanced by the 3 fins I think. The paddle is adjustable in height and feels as sturdy as my $200 kayak paddle. It comes with a wet bag, patch kit, and pump which is great! So all you need to buy is a life vest (I carry around an inflatable one so I don’t have to wear it). The board also comes with an ankle tether which is a great idea for a beginner as well. One tip, I felt like the psi meter on the pump wasn’t working because the board seemed really hard and it was getting a bit difficult to pump before the arrow budged to even 5psi. The board needs to be at 12-15, so that was surprising. It did fill to the 12psi mark though, and you want to make sure you do so or the board will be less stable while you’re paddling. Highly recommend. 😊

I bought this for my 11 y/o daughter as she wanted her own board and after practicing on mine, I got this for her birthday. She's only used it once, but she mastered it quickly. She said it was easy to control and stable for her to stand firmly on. She had a friend she paddled around with, and both had a great time. Hopefully, this board will last a couple of years, and if it does then it will be well worth the investment. So far highly recommend it.

We just received two 10'6" HIGHPI iSUPs. They seem well constructed, the colors (mint and blue) are easy on the eyes and we were able to inflate them easily to about 14PSI with the included pumps. The leashes and paddles are good quality. The paddles have foam in the tubes so they should float if we drop them. We can't wait to get out on the lake and try them. For FWIW, we've never been paddle boarding so we had no idea what to expect. Edit 8/4/2021: We've been to the lake a few times and these are a lot of fun. The boards seemed very rigid even with two of us (adult and child) on each board. We were all able to stand up and paddle without any problems even when the wake of a boat would come our way. The paddles appear to be well constructed and have foam in them so they float. We ordered two more paddle boards for our kids that were a different brand so we wouldn't have to double up on the HIGHPI boards. When the other boards showed up, I immediately knew they weren't going to be the same quality as the HIGHPI boards just from the weight of the box and accessories. I opened one box and noticed everything just looked and felt less sturdy than the HIGHPI kit, from the boards themselves to the pumps, repair kit, and paddles (HIGHPI took the time to chamfer the edges of the paddle handles so they wouldn't have any sharp edges, a nice attention to detail). I didn't feel the $30 savings per board was worth it if we would be replacing parts or patching the boards so we returned them and ordering another pair of HIGHPI paddle boards. Additional note: All four of our HIGHPI boards came with 10L dry bags that have already gotten a lot of use to keep cellphones, car keys, etc. clipped to the boards and dry. It was a nice touch for HIGHPI to include these, they work really well.
