I have medium neutral-cool skin (Loreal 481 Cool Sand is my skin in a bottle), and originally bought shade 202, thinking it would be better for medium skin than the lightest shade. It ended up being darker than my skin - definitely too dark for a cheekbone highlight, and too warm for my liking. I bought 201, and it’s STUNNING. Buildable, and suits my skin so well. I bought the color “gilded dawn” and its GORGEOUS! Its a bright gold with a hint and I do mean a HINT of bronze to it which keeps it from being too too yellow like FB trophy wife-even though thats pretty too...this color is too dark for fair/light skin tones. Probably too dark for light medium skin tones as well, but medium tan/medium dark, Dark and deep complexions can wear this. The powder is smooth, silky and slightly dry-(in a good way) no fall out and is not chalky. The reptile embossed pattern is way more beautiful in person than the display picture captures. If I could compare this powder in texture to a high end highlighter then I would say texture wise in the pan its comparable to the bobbi brown highlighters. This highlighter is pigmented so use a light hand if you want subtle but if you want beaming you can EASILY go heavy with this...blends out well and didnt emphasize texture on my face. Not glittery, more like a luminous sheen like the laura mercier and becca highlighters give you. I recommend these highlighters 100%..if there was one thing i would say about this is that i hope that They add more colors to this highlighter collection, a Warm peachy gold, 2 rose gold shades that are cool and warm toned, and a deeper bronze shade would make this collection complete imo...anyways get you one of these highlighters! ... show more
