I had the old fashioned ones of these for a while, just waiting for a highball quad to come into stock. They finally did and I bought them immediately due to the sturdiness and beauty of the old fashioned ones. The design on the outside makes them so easy to grip and they are thick and nice to drink out of. The design starts down low enough so your lips aren't on it. If you're on the fence about these or the old fashioned, I'd say pull the trigger and get them both. I am probably going to buy one more of each so I have 8 glasses of each kind.
