Excellent and sturdy glassware. I bought a pack of these years ago, and I wanted more of them. The size is smaller than the previous version. But they're definitely weighty glasses. They're classy for either regular use or alcoholic drinks.

    • Great drinking glasses but heavier than expected!
I was looking for a replacement set of glasses for everyday use (water, ice coffee, etc.). These are great quality and look to be well made - thicker glass and durable. I will say they are a little heavier than I expected but will be keeping them all the same!

    • Drinkware is important
We live in an age where people simply don't understand the importance of drinkware. "Just jam it into a plastic cup," seems to be the rule. Nothing can be further from the truth. Drinking should be a deliberate, cultured activity. I firmly believe that one of the best defenses against alcoholism is creating a set of rituals and customs that focus on the experience rather than just getting wasted. These glasses foster that experience. They are heavy, solid, non-trivial. Mixing a Tom Collins or a Highball and serving them creates a sense of purpose. It's the difference between gobbling a bunch of burgers and savoring a quality steak. They also make excellent beer glasses, and as everyone knows, one should never drink beer out of a can or bottle. I have had mine for several months and they have absolutely fulfilled all my expectations. In fact, my friends have also been impressed at the presentation they offer.
