Been chasing a P-0300 OBD 2 fault on my 2000 4.3 Vortec Chevy for a very long time. Did a ton of research and parts changes including fuel injection spider, EGR and the usual plugs, wires, cap and rotor. All to no avail. Deeper research suggested possible distributor issues. Cam and crank sensors showed good electrically. Purchased this distributor because of the feedback. Best thing I could have done. Installed today 11/12/2022 super easy, fired the motor and my motor runs like a new motor. Distributor quality is excellent. Highly recommended if you need to go this route. The oem was plastic, this product was metal. dropped in no problem, plug was a great match. Started and ran fine . The hold down bolt was a 10 MM.
