I bought this wireless ear wax removal tool because I was tired of using cotton swabs and never really feeling like my ears were actually clean. I also liked the idea of being able to see what I’m doing instead of guessing. First impression: the setup was pretty straightforward. I honestly don't think I've had a better experience with a product before. The setup was easy and fast within 1 minute for me. Passes the grandma test for those interested in gifting. The app is simple and works well. Google playstore claims that the app doesn't collect any information at all so it's very privacy inclusive. The Ai ear detection is performed on device aka on your phone and is very accurate from my trial. Reluctantly, I am a Q Tip user even though I'm aware of the risks but not anymore. Now that I've seen for myself, my ear was clean but perforated from using Q Tips. The device is slightly larger than a pen and fits in the hand well. Haven't been able to test the battery life yet because I wanted to review the day of. It does seem quite fragile considering its the shape of a pen so try not to sit on it. Although the price makes it very easy to buy a replacement. Its probably not 1080p and the camera isn't the clearest but for a tight space such as the ear canal, it has the right amount of detail. The gyroscope chip in this makes the app show right side up at all times which can be somewhat helpful but I believe you can turn it off if that's something you're interested in. The tip is a decently strong metal similar to those black head removal tools but covered in a very thin replacable silicone sheath. If you aren't careful or someone else is using it on you, I could see it being dangerous to the ear canal or drum but I don't expect to have these issues personally. Overall very satisfied with this product, so much so that I wanted to review it as soon as possible. If you use Q Tips, I recommend this to find out what damage you could be causing. If you think your ears are dirty or are hard of hearing, this might be what you need. I'm very fortunate to have wet ear wax that makes it very loose and easy to clean but also makes earbuds hard to keep clean. I might even keep this in my purse for emergencies. Get it!

I am very glad I purchased this. I have always struggled with the ear wax in my ears, and ear problems. As most people know, Qtips are not a good choice to clean your ears, and what else is there? I also wear hearing aids and they push ear wax further into your ears. So, I started looking for something to help. This is great. I used it a ton when I had the most awful ear infection in my life recently. I cleaned my ears every day. Now I just do it about every other day or so. It does not come with a lot of the little blue spoon covers, but I bought a box of 100 for about $7, so that isn't bad. This set also comes with a lot of other little tools that I haven't yet explored. I like that it is rechargeable. It does seem to take a bit to connect with the phone app, but not too excessive. I use the inexpensive little single packets of alcohol wipes to clean the blue cover between ears, and also to clean the metal spoon part after each use. Shop around and you can get them cheaply. I think this ear cleaning tool was a superb value for the cost. Note that if you have some really sticky, thick wax, it takes some patience to get it off your ear. Also be aware that the app magnifies what you are looking at, so if you see what looks like a huge piece of ear wax, be calm. When you get it out of your ear, most of the time you can barely see it on the spoon!

I can't really say how well this works, because I never went the full monty and used it. I only got as far as the instructions, and then packed it up and shipped it back. Why? It's a privacy nightmare, and LEGALLY, may be breaking American law. I had a similar item that uses the wifi to connect to the device. Since the connection is to the device, and the device can only connect to one wifi connection at the same time, the connection is secure. This ear cleaner uses Bluetooth to connect to the device, but it ALSO requires a wifi connection with "precise location" turned on to work. That makes no damn sense at all. It's technically a medical device, subject to HIPAA compliance. It absolutely does NOT require that the precise location be spammed to whoever receives that data, especially over a non-secure connection, to be used. It should ONLY need the Bluetooth connection, which is private and doesn't leak data. There are a lot of rules about how medical data is sent from place to place, and there doesn't seem to be any effort to follow those rules by the makers of this thing. Hence why it may be breaking the law. Being someone who's interested in keeping my privacy, I packed the instructions back into the package and shipped it back. The written assurances of privacy are nonsense. If they REQUIRE location information to be on for the device to function, then they're at LEAST monitoring where you are for every use. You might not mind that, and that's a choice. But my choice is to not let people know when my devices are being used. Moreover, there's NO guarantee that what you do with it isn't being monitored, and the images you see or saved aren't being sent to that site without your explicit, written consent (both required by law for any medical information). Ear wax may be a weird thing to be concerned about someone seeing, but if this sends a unique identifying code (and it's likely to) with the location information, you can be tracked and your privacy be potentially compromised from this kind of nonsense. This is NOT an FDA approved device, of course. It's a household gimmick. But it does monitor health information, and for that, it needs to be HIPAA compliant. And this is not a HIPAA compliant device since it doesn't use encryption and you don't give explicit consent each time you use it for any PII to be sent to anyone. Be sure to read the fine print. there's no place in the description where it says it requires location to be on, so it's deliberately deceptive, since that's an integral, and important, feature to know about. My OBVIOUS advice: Find something else. This is a privacy nightmare.

very neat, I've seen these before but was hesitant to buy it because I was the sticks that don't have cameras ( which this also comes with ) so naturally I settled on the cheapest, I actually use this on my kid because I don't like the idea of jamming qtips in their ears so I just have them was me with the app as I'm in their ear. OH this also tells you when you're getting too deep, not that it isn't apparently obvious already, so it's easy to use. usb-c charger like mostly everything now. my only gripe is that most of the time I have to hold their ears in opposing positions to the camera to get better sightlines on the view, and that the condom it comes with is VERY soft and flexible so it will very easily smear the ear wax if you can't scoop it. otherwise decent buy, not perfect but very handy.
