As you can see from the attached pics, the actual PS5 mount is very understated, mounts close to the wall for a professional unobtrusive look that is reinforced with provided screws and anchors. The PS5 is locked in with both a screw on the underside of the mount, and a small lip on the top, for extra security - its not going anywhere! Mount into a stud, if possible, for best results. As the set came with only 1 controller mount, we purchased an additional 2 to meet our needs and are very pleased with the look/construction/quality of the entire set! Best of all, instructions were easy enough that this momma mounted everything within 15min :-)

I'll start with the only downside. I agree with a few other reviews that mounting the PS5 with the disk drive against the wall may not be the best idea due to a very small gap for airflow. It would probably be ok, but why take the chance? Mounting with the drive pointing left works just fine and I'm not overly worried about not seeing the PS logo. Aside from that, the mount is great. Very solid, especially if you mount into a wall stud like I did (again, highly recommend that). I've seen some complaints about a little bit of wobble, but it's honestly not a big deal. It only moves a little at the top and that's only if you intentionally trying to move it. The small gap that causes this prevents scratching the unit when sliding it in to position. Once in place (don't forget the bottom screw) it doesn't move unless you move it. Even putting in and removing discs does not cause any movement. I highly recommend this product.

I installed this mount before I tested that it fit my PS5. I didn’t pay attention that it didn’t fit the slim but that was no one’s fault but my own. I ended up returning the mount and purchasing the slim fit from their website. Luckily, all the holes I had put it installing the first one, lined up with the one for the slim fit so it was easy install for both. I would definitely recommend. Looks cool hanging on the wall.

I’ve used hide it mounts for most of my accessories for the past 3 years. This ps5 mount is well built and works in both sides of your ps5 so whether you’re mounting it on the left or right, it works. The ps5 is a nice looking machine and is fit to be displayed but I like a cleaner hidden look. Hide it makes this possible by tucking this away behind my tv. The only issue (minor) that I found with this mount is that with only one screw holding the bottom there is a slight ‘swivel’ effect when pushed hard on one side or another. I don’t touch the ps5 much so not a huge issue, so I put a small piece of foam behind the ps5 and it sturdied it up.

I have actually bought a Hide-it Mount for every one of mine and my sons' consoles. I have a 2 year old and he loved to knock my ps5 over and was always pusing buttons on everything, so I got these mounts after reading some reviews, and I'm hooked. These mounts are awesome. I am able to discretely hide all of my consoles behind the TV so that when you're sitting on the couch, you arent staring at all the cables going across the wall. I also visited a fried out of state who jkust got a PS5 and bought him the mount and mounted it and the included controller mounts to his wall where you can see the PS5 but the cables are hidden behind the TV...I didn't take a picture, but I should have. The second picture shows my POV from my couch. So, whether you want to hide your consoles completely, or display them, these mounts are top-tier.

It doesn’t what it’s meant to do and holds my PS5 off the ground. I have the original PS5 with the disc drive. When mounted with the disc drive facing left it is very secure. But when mounted with the disc drive facing right it’s not as snug of a fit so it’s a bit more wobbly which would be more concerning if the bottom screw wasn’t securing it. Still I wish there was a fix for that.

Solid piece of hardware, very easy to install, can't even tell it's there - PS5 looks like it's floating. HIDEit is definitely the right name. All the hardware is included for drywall or stud installation (given the weight for the PS5 plus the mount, I'd recommend installing into a stud). Can't speak for the digital-only PS5, but the disc version fits nicely with very little movement or "wobble" that I've seen others mention (probably digital units that need to use the PS5's base to stabilize). Highly recommended, wish I had known of HIDEit for my old PS4 and Xbox One S.
