The pieces all had adhesive backing which made it easy and not messy. We used them to make cards for children in the hospital at a Girl Scout meeting. We did buy glue dots separately For the buttons, but otherwise it was all there.

I bought this pack to keep my three year old entertained while I do my own cards. It worked maybe once. She was more impressed with my own supplies, partly because the items in here are pretty cheap, poor quality. Perfect as a group kids craft I feel.
