I needed a mattress to replace the very old twin one in our office/guest room and was a little leery of buying one online. But this one impressed me right from the start. It was securely rolled up in plastic in a big box and delivered with care to my porch. This mattress is heavy!! The 40 lbs. listed in the description is absolutely accurate. Also the warning to stay out of the way when unrolling it is accurate too! You do need to get out of the way because it unrolls fast once the plastic is mostly off, and it almost knocked my husband over! It looks exactly as pictured, and the dark gray fabric cover is heavy-duty and will resist stains should you choose to tempt fate and not use a mattress cover. The stitching is even and well-done. It is definitely medium-firm as advertised, and you can feel the coil supports. This should help not only with longevity of the mattress but also with support for your body as you sleep. I can feel the different levels of support in the different zones across the length of the mattress, and they are in exactly the right spots for comfort. Even though it is medium-firm, it is very comfortable even for someone like me, who usually likes the softest mattress in the store. I did notice that the zones are evenly spaced so that you can rotate the mattress from top to bottom which possibly might give it some extra longevity as well. It does have a 3” layer of memory foam on top, plus there are extra coils around the edge of the mattress. That makes it easy to sit on without sliding off, which is definitely an upgrade from every other mattress I’ve owned. One of my pictures shows how deep it is with a 3” foam mattress topper on it, which I am not sure I even need because it is comfortable as is. But I put it on to see if my standard deep pocket sheets and mattress protector would fit, and indeed they do. The mattress is 12” deep as described. I am not sure how cooling this mattress would be; the gray fabric and memory foam seem warm to me. But it does have a good return policy if you don’t like it (although obviously I haven’t used that) This mattress is a good buy and really nice quality considering the low price. It would be great for kids bedrooms or guest rooms. If you like a medium firm mattress this is definitely for you! If you like softer, you can put a foam topper on it, and it still will work great! Obviously I can’t speak as to how long this mattress will last yet but will update my review accordingly. This does definitely seem higher quality than you would expect at this price point, so I don’t expect it to wear out quickly however. I would even expect that this would take a bit of jumping up and down on it by small munchkins, but I’m definitely not going to try it! Great mattress at a great price!

I ordered this mattress for my guest bedroom, and I have been extremely pleased with it. The comfort level falls right in the sweet spot between soft and firm. It has enough cushioning to feel comfortable when lying down, but it still provides good support and does not leave you feeling like you’re sinking into the mattress. After expanding, the mattress reached its full shape nicely and has maintained its structure well. The corners are defined, the sides sit evenly, and it gives the bed a clean, finished appearance. One feature that stood out to me is the edge support. The edges feel stable when sitting on the side of the bed, and the mattress maintains its shape well across the entire sleeping surface. The 12-inch profile gives the mattress a substantial look, and the black fabric adds a modern appearance that looks great once the bed is made. The quilting and stitching also appear well done and add to the overall quality feel. Most importantly, it is comfortable. Guests have a comfortable place to sleep, and I have tested it myself enough to know that it provides a nice balance of pressure relief and support. Overall, this mattress exceeded my expectations and has been a great addition to our guest room.

Overall, this is a good mattress. It has great support without being too stiff. The top padding is great to not feel individual springs. The top fabric looks a bit like felt. It seems to grip the sheets well so the sheets didn't move around much. There are two handles on each side of the long ends to help move the mattress around. What I didn't like: the edge of the mattress topper is very thin. I was able to grab the springs through the fabric. Sitting on the edge of the mattress, it flattens almost all the way. Heavier people (adults) will smush the mattress down a lot if sitting on the edge. I'm using it for a kids bedroom, so I don't think it will be much of an issue.

The mattress arrived quickly and was well packaged. My son needed to sleep on it the same day, so I unpacked it in the morning and let it fully expand throughout the day. It expanded quickly and was ready to use that night. This mattress is very comfortable. It has a nice balance of softness and support, making it feel plush without sacrificing firmness. I own another medium firm mattress, and this one feels quite different in a good way. My other mattress is much firmer than expected, while this one provides a more comfortable sleeping experience. For anyone shopping on a budget, I think this is an excellent option. The quality, comfort, and value exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable mattress.

I set this twin mattress up in my daughter’s room, and she loves it so far. It expanded well after unboxing, and the height makes her bed look more finished. The top feels soft and cushioned, but it still has a medium-firm support that does not sink too much. The fabric cover feels smooth and breathable, and I did not notice a strong chemical smell after opening it. She says it feels comfortable for sleeping and lounging, and the edge support is better than I expected for a boxed mattress. One small drawback is that it is heavier than it looks when moving it onto the frame, so having two people helps. I would also give it time to fully expand before making the bed. Overall, it has been a nice upgrade for her room.

I got this mattress to set up my godson’s room, and it turned out really nice. Just like the photos, it expanded to the full height and looked exactly as expected. I left it alone for about 4 hours before anyone laid on it, and by then it was ready to go. The mattress feels comfortable, and I like that it has the cooling gel layer because nobody likes waking up hot in the middle of the night. The edges also hold their shape nicely when sitting on the side of the bed, which I appreciate. For a mattress-in-a-box, I have zero complaints. It looks good, expanded properly, and most importantly, it’s comfortable.
