OK so this was a fantastic deal. I ordered the Hiboss twin size mattress at 12 inches thick. It is advertised as a hybrid mattress but for me it doesn't feel like a hybrid mattress. What it does feel like is a traditional Simmons pocketed coil mattress with a slightly cheaper top layer. Now of all the mattress types for me the traditional Simmons pocket coil mattress was the best more comfortable design. It the product description boast about having a pillow top supported by layers of gel and memory foam. I haven't taken the mattress apart and if they are in there then I suspect they are really thin layers as I don't get the sense or feel of a slow mold memory foam or a gel. And I've slept and own all these different types of mattresses. For me it is a rather cheap topping over pocketed coils of what are probably medium to low quality coils. On the bottom side you can feel the springs right on your hand. And on the top side if you push your hand down hard enough you can also feel the coils. So I think they have over sold or over exaggerated the quality of the topping portion of the mattress. While the padding over the coils isn't super think or super great it doesn't really take away from the quality of the sleep. The bed does an excellent job of providing the right amount of support at the right locations. It contours to my body just right. At the edges the mattress isn't bad. It doesn't have the best reinforced side construction when comparing it to other pocketed coil mattresses I've tried but it is decent and certainly not the worst. Setup: Set up was super easy. We simply removed it from it's package and it it unrolled and inflated on its own in a matter of seconds. Initially the mattress had a slight warp to it from being rolled up during delivery. But it quickly flattened out after sleeping on it for one night. You would never be able to tell this mattress came in a box or rolled up packaging. Temperature: The bed definitely sleep cool. I tend to have sweat at night if the bed is hot at all and I haven't had any problems like that at all. The mattress breaths well and doesn't heat up from your body temperature. Sleep type: I'm typically a side sleeper. But one thing I love about the pocketed coil mattresses, is that you can sleep on your side or back and the bed contours to your body just right. I've been sleeping on this now for over a week and I have gotten good sleep every single night. Firmness: The mattress was advertised as a medium in firmness and I can confirm that it fits right into that category perfectly. It isn't super soft where your body sinks in and the bed molds around your body. And it isn't super stiff either. Definitely a nice medium firmness. Durability: I suspect that this won't have a long a life as say a brand name Simmons or Temperpedic mattress but it doesn't have to because the price point is 2 to 3x less expensive than the brand names in the stores. I'm 100% confident it will last a good 3 to 5 years. Value: On the day of my order this was priced at $129.99 which had a $70 off coupon included. At this price it is an insanely fantastic good deal. Even at full price of $199.00 I think this is a good deal. For a 12" mattress of this quality it really is a great price value range. I believe it will last at least five years so it is a really great deal for the money. If it last even longer than that the deal just keeps getting better. Conclusion: I would definitely order another one. If this twin size mattress performs as I expect it to over the course of the next few months I plan on ordering another one in the King size. It is a really great value for the quality you get.

First thing I noticed when I opened up the package and unsealed the mattress was that I could feel the springs with my hands on the side of the mattress that your supposed to lay on. I hoped that after letting it inflate for 72hours as suggested in the instructions, the springs would be under hidden under the supposed foam layers. Nope. It's been days. I suspect there was never a foam layer to begin with. Just springs. To make matters worse, the bed is not firm at all, far too bouncy, and it creates the perfect environment for the springs to dig into your back anytime you lay on it. 0/10. Never buy this brand!!!

This is only a twin mattress, but it is like they took the nicer queen mattress and cut it in half. This is not a wimpy thinner twin bed. It is practically a foot thick like our bigger mattress. I got this for a teenager and he likes it. Medium and firm, I would say it is in between. Not really medium but not firm for sure. The pillowtop is too cushy for firm. But this thing has real springs, not just a giant block of memory foam that sweats you to death. So is it upgraded, definitely. It isn't the cheapest twin, but when you are talking about a mattress like this versus what you normally get, I think this is definitely worth it. If you make her mad and she boots you out, you will thank me. Comes rolled up right to your door, no trip to the store hoping they have one when they don't.

Opening the packaging requires some caution since the compressed coils expand rapidly the moment you cut the plastic. Once fully expanded the twin mattress fits standard frames perfectly with no awkward gaps around the edges. It provides a sleep surface that blends the sink of gel foam with the active push of metal coils. You definitely notice the memory foam layer but the traditional spring system underneath dominates the overall feel making the bed quite bouncy. That bounce makes perfect sense for hybrid designs but it might surprise anyone expecting the completely deadened response of pure foam. Spending a few nights on the mattress reveals a comfortable balance of support and softness for a very reasonable price. The hybrid design allows for decent airflow so body heat dissipates easily while you sleep. The construction does have a noticeable drawback when it comes to the perimeter. When you sit directly on the side of the bed the outer foam compresses enough that you can feel the metal coils underneath which happens because the edge foam lacks density. As a versatile option for a guest room or a daily bed for a lighter individual this model offers great value even with the weaker edge support.

I needed a twin size spare bed for the times that my grandchildren come to stay--they are growing up and don't like sleeping on the couch anymore. This mattress is quite comfortable! I unpacked it in my living room and allowed it to expand for several days before actually trying it out there on the floor, and it is great! I'm a larger person and it had plenty of spring to be comfortable for me on the floor, so I know it will work just fine for my lightweight grandkids once I get the twin frame for it assembled. It also felt cool when I laid on it but not sure how much of that cooling effect will carry through the mattress pad and sheets. It seems to be quite well sewn with the springy portion in the thinner top layer and the firmer foam layer in the thicker bottom layer. It is quite heavy but I can drag it to the bedroom when the frame is ready for it.
