  • Well made!
These extensions for the Oculus 2 grips are made solidly. They feel great in the hand, and are made with a soft, comfortable padding on the grip. Initially it takes a screwdriver to attach them, but then they can be easily screwed on and off when not in use. My hand straps I had on my grips are a very tight fit over the new connection, but I was able to get them on and still use them without needing a screwdriver to switch back to using just the grips with hand straps. They are very easy to convert to a single stick for use with certain games like a kayak paddle. They just screw together with a large plastic connector included with your extensions. It also includes a convenient drawstring bag to store your sticks and connector in. Great fun addition to the Oculus! I did receive these for free to try out but with no requirement for a review. ... show more

  • The Grip of Life
Shipped very quickly. Arrived undamaged with all parts and pieces. The Hibloks Grip Extensions are AMAZING. I was able to try them out in Beat Saber and Walkabout Mini Golf VR. In Beat Saber the Grips increased my immersion 10 fold! I actually got so into the game that I didn't realize I was creeping closer to a desk and smashed one of my controllers off of it 😅. That being said, it only broke the battery attachment to the grip. I felt like Beat Saber would have been to much for it to stay together anymore at that point. However it was still functional for Minigolf! I headed over to Walkabout Minigolf and Started playing a round on my new favorite course. Once again I felt game play immersion was increased. It felt way easier to line up and pace my shots! The only draw back to minigolf is having to have the game on the setting where the club is always active. As opposed to grip to putt with the regular controller. The Gripe Extensions also come with an RGB puck in the bottom. It is a nice looking addition although a bit to dull to see the colors well. I would like to see a brighter version in the future. I did drop a grip and the cap that holds the puck came off. I found it and it clicked back on. However while playing I noticed it was gone again. So I may have broken it to bad to keep the RGB puck in place anymore. I do believe they have a warranty on their products and I should be able to get replacements sent out for what I messed up today. Quick list Pros: Elevates immersion Comfortable in the hands Easy to set up Cons: Needs brighter RGB Not compatible with their rechargeable battery product. Overall I'm going to give it an 8/10! Thank you Hibloks! ... show more

  • Cool for like a minute, then not so much
They are nicely made, and the small counterweight they provide and the soft grip make for comfortable Beat Sabering.... initially. However, I admit to overdoing the playing on that first weekend, feeling the gameplay overall was enhanced. But, after a few days, I suddenly had major elbow pain. Bad enough to get it checked out, and it's embarrassing, but I had tennis elbow- from over-enthusiastic beat sabering. After a few weeks of rest, I could start playing again, and I eased my way in and played a lot of single saber rounds when my bad elbow was starting to ache. I loved playing with them initially. However, now realize I hardly ever put them on anymore. There are just not enough games that we play to utilize them, so I am only using them for Beat Saber and taking the battery cover off every time to screw these handles in, knowing I am going to have to watch my play time once I do just became kind of a bummer. When I play, I want to PLAY- it is so rare for me to free up the time, and I want to take advantage of any free time I stumble into and spend that entire time playing, NOT detaching the battery covers and storing them off to the side somewhere safe (another concern is the constant removing of the charging covers I have on them now, and the elevated risk of those getting damaged from the constant on/off. it is only a matter of time, and then my charging station setup is moot. So, my overall take is that these are great. But, I wish there were either a way to allow the sticks to be like an auxiliary charging base type situation or just a simpler set-up without the 10 mins of unscrewing, re-screwing, and then unscrewing and re-screwing again -which I must do as soon as I am done playing, in order to hang my controllers up, the time needed just to attach for playing is eating up 20 mins of my too little play time as it is to make these sticks very frequent flyers. Side note on the "light up" feature- it is hysterically unimpressive. It is a small disc light that is under a plastic cap on the end of the wand that is the end you hold so whatever light it emits is hidden within the palm of your hand for one. But also, it is battery operated and the battery is sealed within, so no replacement option is given, LOL! Once it is dead, there is no way to recharge or get replacement disc lights. But, I have to know, What is the point of that feature anyway? They barely lit up, and what lite did emit, was hidden in your hand, then there is the significant fact that you simply cannot play in the dark, or the Oculus trackers will not see your controllers operate correctly, and playing in a well-lit room doesn't lend any need for light up features, you can't see them!! So the light-up base didn't add anything to it at all, I would have been Jazzed AF if instead of that silly lightsaber accent, they would have had a charger end under the cap to plug into its charging base, to power the controller, that would be epic, and I would likely never take them off. ... show more

  • Be a musicial Darth Maul from Star Wars 💙💙💙
Hiblocks does it again with another extremely well made product !! My Beat Saber Game was so so.. but after using these extension handles for Quest 2…my accuracy, timing and motion improved dramatically!!! My scores are all higher than ever because of have much easier mobility I have while playing !! But the icing on the cake has to be that you can combine the handles, and make a Darth like Saber!! It’s hard to get used to but adds almost a never layer of how to play Beat Saber ! One of my favorite products from Hiblocks ! Chop them blocks! ... show more

  • 1st one didn’t have screws, 2nd on broke almost immediately.
Really was excited about the design of this set. Have multiple that use the strap to hold the controller in place and they don’t work well. Ordered this one and the first didn’t have the screws included. Ordered a second and was excited to try it out. The idea of having a screw in base seemed really solid and it looked well thought out. It lasted 15 minutes before it broke, sending my controller flying across the room and almost taking out my 60in TV in the process. The main flaw is the broken connector in the picture. It seems almost like it is glued to the base or connected with very thin plastic. Seems like a pretty big oversight when so much thought was put into the rest of the design. ... show more
