The cabbing machine lapidary equipment motor is variable speed and can be adjusted from 800 rpm all the way up to 3,400 rpm, allowing you to work at your own pace. The coolant reservoir holds about a pint of water. This flat lapidary machine comes with a 1/2" arbor and accept backing plates that have a 1/2" arbor hole.

The All-U-Need has a small footprint and measures 10" X 10" X 12". Weighing just 9 lbs, it is a portable rock polisher suitable for use on tabletops and workbenches. You can even take it on the road with you! Its quiet motor won't disturb others around you.

This machine is well made.....very solid. I like the different speeds that it has. It's definitely a quality piece of equipment. My only complaint is the drip tank. The knob to turn the water on or off is not exact.....meaning it's hard to tell when it's in the closed position. I think the overall design of the drip tank could have been improved.....and the plastic on/off knob should have been replaced by a brass/metal type valve. Other than this the machine works quite well. I've purchased other equipment from this company and their products are very high quality.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my wife. We have cut and polished so many rocks since then. This thing is great! I would recommend buying an 80 grit disc for initial shaping to save a lot of time. Easy to use, good quality. Would buy again.

Just received super fast, set up was easy. Had some rocks already cut and taking them up to an amazing finish went quicker than I expected and my wife said they looked better than the ones on the rock shops! this is my first flat lap so nothing to compare it to but am super happy and also love it's made in the USA which is very important to me.

I was excited about this design because the water runs down a tube, not out of the side like the other model. Two major flaws are the excess table which is an absolute nightmare to clean, and the splash guard. The splash guard is super flimsy and I’m using small clamps to keep it from tipping over with a full water well attached. Some way to actually attach it would be nice. The excess table that catches the water and excess that is ground off the rocks is a disaster of a design. But the machine works great and I’m able to prep for the upcoming rock show.

Overall the whole thing is great. I’ve made some really cool pieces and brought out some of the most amazing beauty in some of my collection. The only think I find a “problem”, which is not really a problem. The water container to hold the water for the drip system and the water container that catches the water could be bigger in size to hold more water at once. I used some rubber tubing to make a drain from my catch container to a bigger 5Gal bucket. Love this and glad I got it

this thing is 90% plastic, the only metal is the motor. these cost less than a 100 bucks to make and it's cheap plastic. if I would have known this I would have made my own flat lap. I can make my own for around 200 and all out of metal.
